The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo movie just took a huge step forward with Anna Kendrick set to direct.

After seeing what she did with Woman of the Hour, I’m really interested to see her take on a story this emotional and complicated. Now all eyes are on the casting because whoever plays Evelyn and Celia has some very big shoes to fill.

Fans have been waiting a long time for this adaptation, and the expectations couldn’t be higher.

Are you happy with Anna Kendrick directing, or did you have someone else in mind? I kind of wish they made this into a limited series. It will be interesting to see how she makes this into a movie.

Episode 3 of Dutton Ranch honestly felt like the calm before everything completely falls apart.

The whole time Beth was in Dallas making moves, making deals, fighting for their future, Rip was out there realizing the ranch might already be in serious trouble. That ending with the foot and mouth disease spreading after Beth finally secured the deal 😢 Yeah… that felt like a punch to the stomach.

And this episode really showed how heavy everything is becoming for Rip. You can see the pressure all over him. From quarantining the herd to dealing with Zach’s confession and Anna showing up with a gun, it felt like every problem on this ranch landed on his shoulders at once.

Oreana reminds me of how Beth was when she was younger. I don’t see things going well with Carter.

IMDb’s Top 10 this week proves nobody can stop talking about Off Campus right now 😊

Yes The Boys is still #1, but Off Campus at #2 feels SO deserved. The chemistry is insane, the friendships actually feel real, and for once we got male characters that aren’t walking red flags.

And seeing Dutton Ranch in the Top 10 too 😘😘 Yeah my watchlist is officially a mess.

The scene of Becka showing up at Agnes’ house covered in blood after killing her father is going to stay with me for a long time.

Not because it was shocking, but because of what led up to it. Agnes telling Becka that her father hurt her too completely changed the way Becka saw everything. You could feel her trying to process the fact that the person she feared her whole life was even worse than she let herself believe.

And the saddest part is Becka didn’t go to Agnes for help hiding it. She went there because she wanted Agnes to know she is safe now. Becka loves her.

Then the Eyes show up and suddenly Becka goes from finally feeling seen to completely trapped all over again. Hearing Becka calling out for Agnes when the eyes were taking her broke me 😢 I really hope they don’t kill her.

I’m not kidding when I say I’m obsessed with Off Campus. I’ve already watched it three times and somehow I love it even more every time. 😭

What makes this show hit so differently for me is the guys. Garrett, Logan, Dean and Tucker none of them are written as toxic men pretending to be romantic. They mess up, they have baggage, they’re chaotic as hell sometimes, but they actually listen, care about the girls they’re with, respect boundaries, and show emotion without acting like it makes them weak.

Garrett falling so hard while trying to act chill about it had me smiling the entire time. Logan pretending he doesn’t care when he clearly cares TOO much 🤭 Painful. And the friendship between all of them honestly feels just as important as the romance. In

The scene where Garrett opens up instead of shutting Hannah out completely got me. Same with the jealousy scenes because you could see these guys were terrified of losing the women they loved instead of trying to control them.

And can we talk about how refreshing it is to watch a romance show where the men actually communicate, apologize, and protect the women emotionally instead of constantly humiliating them for drama 👏🏼

This cast has ridiculous chemistry and now I fully understand why people get attached to this series because SAME.

College was supposed to be Devon’s fresh start and she thought Celeste was the perfect roommate. Cool, confident, pulls her into a whole new life. It feels good at first.

Then the red flags start piling up.

Celeste fakes being sick to get Devon to do her work, hooks up with a guy in Devon’s bed, never pays her back, and plays the “sad life” card so Devon won’t question her. You can see Devon ignoring it just to keep the friendship.

Thanksgiving changes everything. Devon’s family is loving, and instead of fitting in, Celeste gets jealous and starts low key tearing her down.

After that, it gets worse fast. She writes a shady poem about Devon, crosses boundaries, messes with her brother, and lies about all of it. Spring break is the breaking point when Celeste kisses the guy Devon likes right in front of her.

Devon finally snaps.

She exposes Celeste in front of everyone but Celeste hits back by outing Devon’s brother. That leads to a full blow up, and it ends with Devon accidentally burning down the dorm.

Yeah… it goes there.

Ending is wild too. Celeste finally faces consequences, Alex gets a happy ending, and Devon ends up doing two months in jail where she meets Megan Thee Stallion’s character and somehow turns her life around.

Toxic friendships really mess with you, and this movie shows how far things can go when you ignore the signs.

Would you have cut Celeste off early or stayed like Devon did?
