Collaborative Canvas Challenge is this weekend!

One canvas. Multiple artists. Unexpected possibilities.

What happens when a team of artists shares a canvas, gets a mystery prompt, and races against the clock? Come find out!

Teams will work together to create an original piece of art through timed creative rounds. Each round introduces a new mystery prompt, challenging artists to adapt, combine their ideas, and build on one another’s work. Every teammate brings a different perspective—and every new prompt could change the direction of the piece!

The audience gets in on the action, too. Watch the artwork evolve, cheer on your favorite teams, and vote for your favorite finished canvas.

This challenge celebrates creativity, teamwork, and the unexpected things we can make together.

Who would you want on your team? Tag your creative crew below!

On August 9th, my wife and our newborn son walked into the Dow Active Complex for the very first time.
I remember @divine_guidance1984 telling me about the rooms—spaces for classes, and a large upstairs area for bigger events. Even then… we both felt it.
There had to be an art show here.

Less than a year later—and we just hosted it.

I don’t even know how to fully put it into words… just wow.

Watching artists come together.
Seeing students from our campus step out and sell their work for the very first time.
Seeing conversations happen, connections form, and most importantly—artists genuinely supporting artists.

That’s the dream.
And tonight, it was real.

We couldn’t have done this without every single one of you who showed up, shared your work, supported others, and believed in what this is becoming.

This is only the beginning.
Not even the tip of the iceberg of what’s coming next.

Collaborate. Create. Connect.

Love you all.
Until the next one 🍻

Creative Connections isn’t just about showing art—
it’s about talking about it.

At 5 PM, we’re hosting our Artist Q&A Panel 🎤

But before we get there…
we want to hear from YOU.

If you could ask an artist anything—what would it be?

• How did you get started?
• How do you price your work?
• How do you stay consistent?
• How do you push through creative blocks?

Drop your questions below 👇
We’ll be pulling some of these to ask LIVE at the panel.

Let’s start the conversation early.
