I use two different sketchbooks; it isn’t the paper or the pens that matter here, but the time. In one sketchbook, I create actual sketches lasting between 5 and 10 minutes, while in the other, I work the drawings up much more fully.Those can take an hour or more to complete.This sketch took about 10 minutes (so about 20 minutes for the two of them together).#Sketch#doodles#ink#scribbles by @the_draw_guy2019

Trying to capture the evening light.Along the Scheldt, we encounter this beautiful landscape. I could enjoy it for hours—the silence, and the occasional barge passing by.The Scheldt is (and still is) an important river in East Flanders (Belgium), where goods are transported along the water.It wasn’t easy to render this because of the soft landscape. The Lesco restaurant has a beautiful old facade.
