❄️ MEET OUR ELSA. THEN MEET THE PEOPLE WHO HELPED BUILD HER WORLD. ❄️

Last night, @thereallinderellak stepped onto the stage as Elsa and absolutely brought the house down.

Her ice-palace transformation is one of the defining moments of Frozen at the Eich, but the staircase beneath her carries a story of its own.

Taney Corporation did not simply sponsor this production. Jeff Glass and members of the Taney team gave their time, craftsmanship, and experience to build the staircase featured in this video, helping create the centerpiece of Elsa’s transformation and one of the most unforgettable images in our show.

The Glass family’s connection to Frozen reaches far beyond the set.

Jeff’s wife, Dawn Glass, teaches @the_edge_dance_complex, which helped shape the movement bringing Arendelle to life. Their son, Maddox Glass, is also part of the cast, appearing as Pabbie.

It is truly a family affair.

Our choreography is led by Sarah Logsdon, someone who performed beside me as a kid in the earliest Acts of Kindness productions, and an award-winning instructor at The Edge Dance Complex. Watching her grow up and return to help lead the next generation has been one of the greatest joys of coming home to this company.

A local business built the staircase.
A local studio helped shape the movement.
Their son stepped onto the stage.
And artists who grew up in this company returned to help lead it.

This is what community theatre looks like.

To Jeff, Dawn, Maddox, Sarah, the Taney Corporation team, and The Edge Dance Complex, thank you for helping Elsa’s world rise from the stage.

And to Lindy Keefe, congratulations on an extraordinary opening night. The power, heart, and talent you bring to Elsa left us speechless.

Now the rest of our community needs to see it.

Today’s Fabulous Friday post is to celebrate and honor the childhood friendship that started decades ago in dance class, between two of our instructors, Miss Ashley Wetzel & Miss Jordan Shrader. 🥰

This is living proof that the friendships dancers make within the studio will last a lifetime and the memories you continue to create together will only become more special and meaningful as your dance journey progresses through adulthood. 🩵

Enjoy this amazing lyrical combo, choreographed by Jordan Shrader. Their passion is beyond beautiful and so incredibly inspiring! This is what dance family is all about. 🫶

Please show these talented ladies some love!!! 💕 by @the_edge_dance_complex

It’s another Fab Friday here at EDC as we wrap up our first week of our July Summer Session!! 😎

Our dancers had so much fun kicking it off with our new POM classes, taught by the incredibly talented Katilyn Baumgardner!! An EDC alumni that dedicates her time and training to the Mount Saint Mary’s D1 Dance Team. She is excited to continue sharing her passion for POM at EDC, to bring this fun, upbeat, and sassy style to our dancers and help provide the tools and skills needed for collage dance in their futures.

We are thrilled to add POM into our program, and are excited to see our dancers’ growth throughout the summer. 🤩

If POM is something you’ve been interested in trying, it’s not too late to register!! We’d love to have you join us this summer. Come dance on the edge with us!! We have many genres and classes to select from!!

Drop an 🙋‍♀️ below if you’d like to view our summer schedule!! 😎 by @the_edge_dance_complex
