When I was moving to Panama, people loved to warn me: “Panamá is a 3rd world country.” 🧐

But that couldn’t be further from the truth! ❌

The reality is that Panama today is actually safer than most parts of Europe and North America.

It’s a country full of opportunity, stability, and an incredible lifestyle people don’t realize is possible until they actually experience it.

You meet people from every corner of the world.

You’re welcomed by locals with genuine warmth.

And every single day feels like you’re living in a place that’s growing, modern, and full of momentum.

For me, Panamá isn’t just home - it’s the best place in the world to live.

Panamigos community, we need your donations to help Panama. 🇵🇦❤️

Last Friday, Panama experienced the strongest earthquake it’s had since at least 1900. Although the city was far enough from the epicenter that it didn’t receive much damage, homes in the interiors are a lot different. 🙏

People have seen their homes completely destroyed, alongside critical infrastructure. It has been a devastating time for many. 🥹

For the last week, we have been working hard behind the scenes to raise money and buy supplies. Things that people truly need right now.

Next week we will travel to the interior in a truck we hired, to go and deliver those supplies.

Currently we have raised $2,000 but our goal is $5,000. Big or small, you can all make a difference.

If you’d like to support, you can Yappy “Panamigos” in the directory, or reach out and I will share our bank details with you for transfer. Alternatively, you can leave material goods and any supplies you feel could help in the Panamigos Realty office in the lobby of Financial Park, Costa Del Este. 🎗️

PANAMA IS OFFICIALLY OFF THE EU BLACKLIST!!! 🙌🇵🇦

After almost 7 years, Brussels finally took us off the list on Friday. One of the biggest wins this country has had in a long time, and I’m so happy to see it. 🤩

What it means:

- European banks and companies can do business with Panama without being penalised 🇪🇺
- More investment, more jobs, more demand 📈
- FATF grey list in 2023, EU blacklist in 2026. Both gone ✔️

If you own property here, you got in early. If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it. 🏙️

Panama is on the up! 🙏🏽🇵🇦

The end of a crazy few days and it made me even PROUDER to live in Panama! 🇵🇦

A few of my takes:

- We have some of the best architects and construction companies in the world 🌎 🏗️
- The people that stayed out helping whilst they were scared are some of the strongest people out there - my full respect to you all 🤝
- Social media was really useful - it told us how to help! 📲
- Panama is resilient! We are ready for anything here, and will always support each other 🙌

I’m glad I chose to live, invest and grow my businesses here.

Well done, Panama! 🇵🇦

Everyone’s cutting jobs and I’m.. creating jobs! 🙌

I rarely get time to stop and think about what I’ve achieved in the last two and a half years, but having seen thousands of job cuts recently, I stopped and reflected a little.

Of course, I’m immensely proud of these teams and all they’re achieving, because we really are experiencing rapid growth but..

I’m even more proud that in a “AI is replacing people & big corporates are firing people” world, I’ve found a way to provide jobs in a country I absolutely adore.

Not only that, but we’ve created cultures of growth and genuine happiness. When your offices are “a vibe”, you’ve done something right. 😎

Total across all teams now is over 40..

And most of my days go to helping, supporting and coaching a lot of these legends to enable them to succeed.

So today, I’m thankful to my partners @luke_abbott_finance , @carlosdeleonrealestate & @deinnocentis.wealth , and I’m beyond grateful that I spend every day doing what I do.

Here’s to 40 more!

I see this EVERY WEEK. Professionals in Panama putting $500 a month into a plazo fijo and calling it a retirement plan.

This has to stop. ✍️

After 20 years that’s about $194,000. Spread it over the 28 years from 62 to 90 and you’re living on $577 a month.

That means you can’t retire. Literally.
