If you told me a few years back i'd be standing here today, I'd of never believed you... little Lucy would be so proud 🌸

It's been far from easy setting up on my own, and a scary decision at that, but in life you just have to take a leap and go for these things when the opportunity presents itself, and have faith it will all work out 🤞🏻

I have been truly blown away by how many people have taken the time to reach out & send a message of support and best wishes to me today 🥹 It really does mean so much!

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by to say hello, shared, liked & followed from afar, and offered words of advice & encouragement... and to those that have been there for me to lend a helping hand, when I've needed it most, please know it dosen't go unnoticed or unappreciated 🫶🏻

I would like to begin by saying thank you. To everyone who has wished me well, or simply shown an interest in the shop already. Your warmth and kindness have made me feel incredibly welcome, and I’m so grateful to be joining such a wonderful village.

Great thought went into choosing the name “The Flower Forge”. It was important to me that the shop honours and respects a tradition at the heart of rural life. A forge has always been a place of skill, community & rooted in craftsmanship - where raw materials are shaped into
something purposeful. I hope to bring that same spirit to flowers - celebrating their beauty in the moment and the stories and emotions they help us tell.

Above all, I hope The Flower Forge becomes more than just somewhere to buy flowers. I’d love for it to be a place where people feel welcome to pop in for a chat, browse what’s in
season, and find something for someone “simply because".

...and of course there will always be biscuits waiting for visitors with 4 paws & wagging tails 🐾

October is a month to shine a little more light on mental health — World Mental Health Day is on Saturday 10th October 2026 💙

Throughout October, I’ll be creating a selection of specially made bouquets, with a percentage from every one donated to Vetlife and Mind — two charities that are very close to my heart. 💚

Vetlife provides confidential support to the veterinary community, while Mind offers information and support to anyone experiencing a mental health problem - whether this be everyday struggles & low mood, or clinical diagnoses like depression or anxiety.

So, whether you buy a bouquet for yourself, a friend, or someone who simply needs a little bit of brightness this month, you’ll also be helping someone who may be having a difficult time.

You never really know what someone is carrying.
And if that someone is you — please know that it’s okay not to be okay. You don’t have to face it alone. 🌿

September has officially arrived! 🌻

Bringing with it... sunflowers, subscriptions, anniversairy flowers, all the autumnal colours & feels, and my first market stand 🌸 (oh and copious amounts of conditioning at ungodly hours 🙈)

if you haven’t discovered us yet… we’re on the corner at the heart of the village, creating seasonal, artistic and bespoke floristry. I will be carefully selecting a range of giftware to introduce over the next few months too, so watch this space! Week one at The Flower Forge 🌸

One week of flowers, new faces, early mornings, happy customers and a whole lot of learning!

I honestly couldn’t have wished for a warmer welcome from the village 🤍

The buckets have been filled, the flowers have flown out the door, I’ve learnt approximately 47 new things and I’m fairly sure I’ve consumed my body weight in tea 😂

But most importantly, I’ve had the loveliest first week at The Flower Forge 💕

Thank you to everyone that's supported my little business so far! I’m so grateful to everyone who has popped in, bought flowers, said hello, shared a post, recommended me to a friend or simply stopped to wish me luck.
