Quick lil story time
My first interaction with Brent was just a year Prior to this photo when I did a one on one guitar sesh in okc. So this time around I watched em do soundcheck. Roadies had a long ramp in the middle of center stage straight down to the floor moving equipment and so the boys come on stage play a few songs and I’m just kinda there off standing by myself and I see Brent walking down the ramp in my direction in the middle of playing crystal skull and gets next to me and just starts ripping the solo. That being the last song of soundcheck he turns to me and was like “ I looked down and I thought he looks like a guitar guy i wonder what it sounds like down there, how’d it sound?” I was like uuhh friggin sick dude. And then he was like “I think I recognize you. Did you do the lesson last year?” I was like yeah!
Anyways So we chat a lil bit more and then he hands me his guitar pick. Rip Brent Hinds by @the_flyingmongoose
