Mom has a purpose. Dad has a purpose.

Mom is for cuddles, kisses and being told I’m the cutest little batootie in the whole world.

Dad is for wrestling, chaos and boy stuff.

And today… I’m not in the mood to be a cutie batootie. I want to FIGHT. 😂 taken in Stoney Creek, Ontario by @the_framing_beast

Our Wicked Tuna audition tape has officially gone off the rails. 🎣😂

We all had very important jobs.

Adrian was our actor… while simultaneously trying to fillet FOUR salmon for the first time in his life. 🐟🔪

I was the camera lady, desperately trying to keep the shot steady while laughing.

And Landon was standing behind me holding up a phone like a teleprompter with Adrian’s very serious talking points about colour, oil, fat content and fish quality. 😂

The plan was to make a convincing Wicked Tuna parody.

What we actually created was about 10% useful footage and 90% bloopers because none of us could keep a straight face.

We laughed until it physically hurt. There were fish bits ALL over the kitchen. Adrian was trying to fillet while staying in character. Landon was feeding him lines. I could barely hold the camera.

Absolute chaos.

And I would do it again and again. 😂🎣

Living in a house full of boys means being a team player… and for the most part, I am. 😂🎣

I genuinely love fishing. I’m always game to grab the rods, pack the snacks and spend a day on the water.

But waking up to go fishing? That has always been where I draw the line.

So naturally, today started with a 4AM alarm for a salmon fishing charter out of Etobicoke. 😅

And somehow… it was worth it.

Stunning views, hilarious stories we’ll probably be laughing about for years, and every single one of us caught a salmon.

Our fridge is now FULL, we’ll apparently be eating like royalty for the foreseeable future, and I caught the biggest fish I’ve ever caught in my life. 🥹🎣

Maybe… just maybe… 4AM fishing isn’t so bad after all.

Mostly though, I’m just really proud of that fish and very grateful for a boat full of boys cheering me on the entire time. ❤️ taken in Stoney Creek, Ontario by @the_framing_beast

The John Deere he wanted vs. the John Deere he got. 🚜🐐

Adrian has been talking about getting a John Deere forever…

So naturally, I delivered.

✅ Green
✅ Yellow
✅ Keeps the grass short
✅ Leaves fertilizer behind
❌ Absolutely no cup holders
❌ Cannot be steered
❌ Occasionally ends up on the hot tub

And before anyone says this isn’t a real John Deere… I’d argue Henry is actually the deluxe model. 😂

Low maintenance. Self-fuelling. Environmentally friendly. Slightly feral.

@johndeere can we get an official ruling here? Does Henry qualify? 👀💚💛

Because if you comment, Adrian is 100% going to take that as permission to buy the other one. 😂 taken in Stoney Creek, Ontario by @the_framing_beast

Henry and Toro are officially ONE! 🐐🎉

So naturally, we threw them a birthday party and invited all of their animal friends. The chickens were by far the most excited guests (mostly because they thought all the snacks were for them).

A carrot cake, a lettuce piñata, a vegetable bouquet, and an evening spent celebrating our two favourite troublemakers made for the perfect birthday party.

In just one year, these boys have brought so much laughter, chaos, personality, and joy to our little homestead. Happy 1st Birthday, Henry and Toro — we wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

One person brings a bad mentality to the site, and they could take down the morale of the entire crew.
