We’ll be adjusting our opening hours from 27th April.

Due to low morning demand, we’ll now be opening later each day so we can focus on giving you the best experience when it matters most.

Thanks for your understanding and continued support - see you soon at The Hidden Barrel. by @the_hidden_barrel

WE’RE IN IT!

Sparky just wanted to let you know that we’ve made it into the Good Beer Guide - the definitive guide to the very best pubs the UK has to offer!

A huge thank you to all the real ale drinkers who have supported us, rated us, and appreciated the good beer we serve.

Since the day we opened, our aim has always been simple: to serve beer in excellent condition, delivering the best pint you can get.

We’re incredibly proud to be recognised, and we’ll continue doing what we love - serving great beer and making sure every pint is one to remember.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday to celebrate our 1st Birthday! 🎉

It has been an incredible year, and I’m so pleased to see our community and regular customer base constantly growing. Thank you to everyone who appreciates good-quality beer, great service, and the fantastic atmosphere we’ve created together.

A special thank you to Tim, Henry, and Andrea for all your support throughout this past year. We truly appreciate everything you’ve done for us.

A huge shout-out to Danny Barton and Sarah Ellen for their incredible performance on the day - you were fantastic! 🎶

Another big thank you to Raimonda from Party Food Pro in Northampton for supplying all the delicious snacks. And, of course, a massive thank you to Jurate’s Cakes in Milton Keynes for the beautiful and absolutely delicious birthday cake! 🎂 by @the_hidden_barrel

The Hidden Barrel Turns 1! 🎉

We first opened our doors on 19th July 2025, and it has been an incredible year! Thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped make The Hidden Barrel such a special place. We’ve shared so many great memories, stories, and laughs together.

As our anniversary falls on the second day of the Bedford River Festival, which is also a Sunday and not the most convenient day for many of our customers, we’ve decided to celebrate a little earlier!

Join us on Friday 17th July for a special anniversary celebration. We’ll be cutting the birthday cake at 7:00pm, followed by live music from the Sarah Ellen & Danny Barton Duo from 8:00pm.

Let’s raise a glass together and celebrate our first birthday. We can’t wait to see you all! 🍻❤️
