As we celebrate our freedom this Fourth of July, I’m reminded how precious life is.

In 2015, my 7-year-old son almost lost his life in a boating accident.

Please make safe choices this weekend. Wear your life jacket. Be responsible on the water and on ATVs. Look out for each other.

We were gifted a second chance. Not everybody is.
