PART 1!!! So many gorgeous restaurants on the island! I’ve not got round them all but here are just some of the ones we love. I’ve got more to add but instagram only lets me add 20 so wait for part 2?! #menorcarestaurant #wheretoeat Gorgeous food on the water. Paella is a must here! @tamarindos_menorca If you want somewhere a bit more casual try their sister @el_bar_de_tamarindos The most wonderful food on a vineyard. Pair with a tour of the winery then enjoy lunch ! 🍷 @bodegasbinifadet Excellent tapas! Often live music, pretty restaurant with a pond. Great with kids! @txokomenorca @cantinamenorca On the island of Illa del Rei in Mahon. Catch a boat there with Yellow Catamarans and combine with a visit to the @hauserwirthmenorca art gallery. Excellent tapas, excellent atmosphere and excellent service! @asorbosmahon Nacho the owner has been here since 1980! Warm and friendly service, great location along Mahon harbour. Fresh tapas, daily specials the calamari, bravas and mango salad are 👌 @cachitomahon Great spot overlooking the Port of Mahon yet hidden down the side of the Fish Market. Not just for cocktails the food is great too! @bbcocktailbarmahon Very popular on instagram but for good reason! @ivettebeachclub has a stunning location overlooking the bay of Cala Morell. We had an excellent meal here Another popular one in Binibeca, @bambumenorca is wonderfully modern, excellent service and great food. Go! Reopened last year this is epitomises the chiringuito! On the beach of Binibeca, is wonderfully casual in the day with takeaway options but by night you can book a table . @bucaneros.binibeca One of our faves! We love the team here at @bbcocktailbar it’s another hidden rooftop location in Binibeca Vell. Good food, cocktails and music and family friendly!! Beautifully set on the bay of Alcaufar! We love @xuroymenorca and have been coming for years mainly for a drink but the food is very good too! Pretty tapas restaurant in the resort of Playa de Fornells well worth a visit!! @la_franola_menorca Set on the promenade in Fornells and quaint harbour town, Sa Fonda offers great cuisine and service. @safondafornells Great TAPAS he taken in Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain by @the_menorca_mum

MENORCA CAR RENTAL … 👇🏻 Driving around Menorca is easy, the roads are well maintained, well signposted and not much traffic! Even in summer ☀️ It is the most convenient way to discover this beautiful island and all its hidden gems. (Car parks do get busy at some beaches in August so head out early or late!) Balearic car rental @offugocars have recently come to Menorca and I got to test their system out this week. It is made so much easier by being all online. I love that there is no paperwork it is all done from your smartphone from booking to even unlocking your car. It’s a very clever system! 🚗 No shuttle bus (car will be in the airport car park) 🚗No queues (you receive an email with the exact location of your car in the car park) 🚗 No paperwork. Validate your driver’s license and passport before you go online. 🚗 Unlock the car with your phone! Find the keys in the glove compartment. 🚗 Add a second driver for free 🚗 Full insurance 🚗 Drop the car back the same way you opened it, from your phone! (Clear instructions are given) 🚗 24/7 assistance via email and WhatsApp. 🚗 A good variety of cars, all good quality and clean! 🚗 Choice of car seats to add to your booking from rear-facing baby ones to boosters. Same beach, different seasons 👇🏻 Summer holidays are here! ☀️☀️☀️ Menorca is a beautiful island to discover, and it’s so much more than its stunning beaches. (Have a look through the rest of my page for plenty of ideas! 🫶) Just a little reminder that in peak summer, some of the most popular beaches may not look quite like the postcard photos. They’re still absolutely beautiful and well worth visiting, but…they can be much busier than you might expect. If you’d love to see them at their quietest, April, May, June, late September, October and even November are wonderful times to visit. If you’re here this summer, my favourite time to head to the beach is from around 4pm onwards. C I U T A D E L L A …. 👇🏻 … is a MUST visit. It’s just beautiful. A maze of cobbled streets and pretty squares on the west coast of Menorca. Wandering its narrow alleyways is like stepping back in time… my tip for visiting is to just wander! It’s the perfect place to get lost in. It’s small and centralised so you’ll never deviate too far and there’s something around every turn from pockets of street art to tapas bars. ⬆️Check out my Ciutadella story highlights with bucket lists of places to visit. 🫶One day is never enough, you’ll be back. 🛍️Market days are Monday and Friday in Placa des Born and nightly evening markets in the summer on steps leading down to the port. ‼️Remember most shops close between 2pm and 5pm so visit morning or evening to get the most out of your visit. 📝 Save for your next visit to the island! taken in Ciutadella de Menorca by @the_menorca_mum
