It was one of the worst days of my life. A shattering breakup that led me to lay in the bed all day contemplating if I even wanting to be here anymore.

Then out the blue, you called. I told you what was going on..and you made me get out the bed and just come sit with you at the studio. So I did, Hair fucked up, eyes puffy, confidence GONE.

You played this song. It was the first time I heard you sing. Your voice was so healing! You said you’d been sitting on this song for months but you kept hearing a female voice on it. So you asked me if I could follow you bar for bar to see how it sounded. And once we were done recording, that was the first time I’d smiled in days! You always had that affect, you knew how to make me laugh. How to make me believe in myself, and always reminded me of who I am!

My friend for over a decade.. my brother I love you and ima miss you dearly. ..and yes I’m still mad you made me sing in that “high ass key” 🤣 You would always say you were not an Artist..but my brother you are the epitome of what Art is! I wish we had more time, but I’m just grateful to have known you and witness your greatness first hand in this lifetime!

From the Cross_fire ti the Cross Road! I’ll see you again soon my brother! 💐 by @the_nadi_one
