A very warm welcome to Jamie, joining The Noteworthy Approach.

Currently training at The Musical Theatre Centre in Essex, Jamie has a particularly exciting instinct for character — not simply performing the material, but really pulling it apart, questioning it and understanding what makes a character tick.

After seeing him perform in Beyond at the Marylebone Theatre, it was clear there is so much potential here. He brings intelligence, curiosity and a real appetite for the work, alongside a lovely natural presence on stage.

I’m very excited to see where that combination takes him — not only as a performer, but across whatever areas of the arts he chooses to explore.

Welcome to The Approach, Jamie. #thenoteworthyapproach #welcometotheapproach #youngperformers #musicaltheater #talentrepresentation by @the_noteworthy_approach

We are absolutely delighted to welcome the wonderful Ellie-May to The Noteworthy Approach!

A true musical theatre triple threat, Ellie-May has that rare ability to make a performance feel entirely effortless. Her beautifully naturalistic approach to character and storytelling draws you in so completely that you almost forget you’re watching someone perform.

A graduate of LAMDA’s MA programme, Ellie-May brings together exceptional versatility, instinctive acting and a genuine connection to her craft.

With such an exciting career ahead of her, we couldn’t be happier to be part of her journey.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome young performer Alayna to The Noteworthy Approach!

It’s rare to meet someone with such a clear sense of purpose, unwavering focus and genuine passion for their craft.

What immediately stood out about Alayna was her instinctive understanding of character and storytelling. Her natural responses to script dynamics, her thoughtful character analysis and her willingness to explore beyond the obvious make her a particularly exciting young talent.

There is something wonderfully refreshing about a performer who already approaches their work with such curiosity, intelligence and intention.

We’re thrilled to be supporting Alayna as she continues to develop her craft, challenge herself and explore the opportunities ahead.

Welcome to The Approach, Alayna. We can’t wait to see what comes next! #thenoteworthyapproach #youngperformers #actor #emergingtalent #welcometotheapproach by @the_noteworthy_approach

How great is it that so much of work can come with you now?

Mr Noteworthy and I are heading away for a week today, and whilst the scenery is changing, the agency side of The Noteworthy Approach can happily come along for the ride.

Emails, submissions, client conversations and all the little moving parts can keep ticking over from pretty much anywhere.

Sadly, the coaching side doesn’t quite fit in the suitcase — some things still need a room, a piano and an actual human voice in front of me. 😂

So for a few days it’s the same agency, same momentum… just with a slightly nicer view.

And the biggest thank you to @thetravelhole for being the best travel agent! She has literally thought of everything from start to finish and we haven’t had to lift a finger.

Very grateful for that. #thenoteworthyapproach #agencylife #behindtheapproach #talentrepresentation #workfromanywhereintheworld by @the_noteworthy_approach

Growth doesn’t always need an announcement.

Sometimes the most important progress is happening quietly — in the preparation, the practice and the choices you keep making when nobody is watching.

Keep building. The work will show. #thenoteworthyapproach #noteworthywisdom #performerdevelopment #performingarts #agent by @the_noteworthy_approach

Spontaneity is brilliant. Being unprepared isn’t.

Learn the material. Know the brief. Check the details. Do the groundwork.

Then you have the freedom to listen, respond and adapt when it matters.

Preparation should make you freer, not more rigid. #thenoteworthyapproach #industrynotes #performerdevelopment #performingarts #professionalpractice by @the_noteworthy_approach

Professional development in action.

Kirstin recently worked with Hannah at Marble and Sky Photography on a new set of headshots, approaching the shoot with six clear character directions in mind.

That kind of preparation makes such a difference. Rather than simply creating a set of lovely images, the aim was to show real breadth — different energies, different casting possibilities, and the adaptability Kirstin brings as a performer.

The results capture so much of her exuberant style and fun personality, whilst also showing the strength of her character work and the range she can bring to a role.

A brilliant example of using professional materials not just to look current, but to tell casting something useful.

Very exciting to see these come together. #thenoteworthyapproach #professionaldevelopment #actorheadshots #talentrepresentation #getintheroom by @the_noteworthy_approach

Professional development in action.

This week Dan spent time at Pinewood Studios filming new professional screen material through the Actors Studio.

He stepped into the role of Roman — a heavier, gangster-style character — alongside another actor, giving him the opportunity to explore a different side of his casting and build fresh footage for his showreel.

One of the things I’m really keen on at The Noteworthy Approach is making sure our artistes are not simply waiting for the next opportunity, but are continuing to develop the tools, material and experience that help create those opportunities.

New footage, new casting possibilities, and another useful piece of the bigger picture.

Well done, Dan. #thenoteworthyapproach #actordevelopment #pinewoodstudios #showreel #talentrepresentation by @the_noteworthy_approach

Sometimes we can want a moment so badly that we start pushing it.

More emotion. More volume. More movement. More “performance”.

But often the strongest choice is the clearest one.

Know what you want, trust the work you’ve done, and let the moment land without forcing it.

Effort can be impressive. Clarity is compelling. #thenoteworthyapproach #performanceprinciples #performingarts #performerdevelopment #actortraining by @the_noteworthy_approach

A huge congratulations to our wonderful Beth Frígot, who has secured a contract with Scare Asylum! 🎭

Beth is an incredibly hardworking, dedicated performer who continually puts the effort into developing her craft, embracing opportunities and pushing herself forward.

It’s always a joy to see that commitment rewarded, and we couldn’t be prouder of her!

Congratulations, Beth! We hope you have the most fantastic time bringing Scare Asylum to life. #thenoteworthyapproach #WorkingActor #scareasylumcornwall #proudagent #BethFrígot by @the_noteworthy_approach

Not every audition, meeting, lesson or performance has to show every part of what you can do.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is trust one clear choice, one honest moment, one part of yourself — and let that be enough.

You’re allowed to leave people wanting to know more. #thenoteworthyapproach #noteworthywisdom #performingarts #actor #stageandscreen by @the_noteworthy_approach

Behind the Approach

It’s been a busy old week…

Rehearsals, learning new material and choreography.
Driving.
Teaching technique and working through audition material.
Driving.
Meetings with some of my fabulous clients, taking stock of where we are and putting solid plans in place for where we’re heading next.
Driving.
Spending time at @themtcentre with some of the most amazing young performers, led by absolute industry angels.
Driving.
Some very precious time with Mum.
Driving.
Meeting prospective new clients and hearing all about their hopes, ambitions and what they’d love the next chapter of their careers to look like.
And, naturally… more driving. 😂

A very full week, but a really good one.

There’s something particularly satisfying about seeing all the different strands of The Noteworthy Approach working alongside each other — coaching, developing, representing, planning, talent-spotting and building relationships.

Apparently, much of it just happens to involve the A30 and M25. 🚗😂 #thenoteworthyapproach #behindtheapproach #talentrepresentation #performerdevelopment #bestjobintheworld by @the_noteworthy_approach
