As for me, it’s been an incredible, exhausting, overwhelming, frustrating, and joyful 9 months. Last year, when we finished our round of IVF we were lucky enough to be given a choice between embryos. It was a strange and amazing privilege in a process that had felt so relentless. Ultimately, we asked the doctors to implant the “highest quality girl”. Now, Amelia Phoebe Sugarman has arrived and I can confirm that she is, in fact, a girl of the highest quality. Born slightly dramatically and a full 2 weeks early, she is a tiny miracle. Harley and I feel exceptionally lucky and deeply grateful for all the people who already love her. by @the_oopsgirl
