^ strangr is a safe space & we request you to both hold that truth & participate in making us a safe space.
^ do remember we don’t take ressies, so come early & stay late.
^ if you are holding space for friends, we strongly request 85% of your party arrives w/n 15 mins. otherwise & especially during heavy hours, we will have to give that space up for other guests.
^ our Vasant Vihar space is small, and we do have to shut entry at capacity.
^ thank you for understanding & your love.

• Phresh Off The Boat - Dance and music exports from around the world • A night we bring to the club dance and music culture from across the globe infused with local spice.
The genres will be wide ranging - Afro/Afro Caribbean music, Latin American genres, Baile Funk, Middle Eastern and South Asian sounds along with global club edits. But the prime objective is to always keep the dancefloor moving, the audience dancing, with the freshest dancers to keep the vibes strong.
For the first edition in Delhi we are bringing on dancer turned DJs with great selection of Afro diasporic sounds, @knownas_amara and @agamisthename. We also have @_hana_vel and friends on the dancefloor 🔥

*Phresh Off The Boat - Dance and music exports from around the world.* A night on which we bring to the club dance and music culture from across the globe infused with local spice.
The genres will be wide ranging - Afro/Afro Caribbean music, Latin American genres, Baile Funk, Middle Eastern and South Asian sounds along with global club edits. But the prime objective is to always keep the dancefloor moving, the audience dancing, often through instruction by or interaction with the freshest dancers.
For the first edition we are bringing on Sukumama live on the darbuka, dancer turned DJ Royboy and Calcutta producer $kar. The first night we will be focusing mostly on French Afro Pop and Afro Caribbean music featuring Afrodieties dance crew on the floor with sound design by Sayantan. The night is also co-hosted and co-playlisted by Lea Gkionis and friends, a group of french volunteers working at an NGO in the city. Shoutouts to long-time collaborators MCRA for coming on board too.
