This is how HAPPY and relieved I was when my oncologist told me today my CT scan and bloodwork was good!! I took my first deep breath in the past week! Scanaxiety for cancer patients is real and it’s hard! I’ll sleep well tonight! My kids and family and close friends were just as happy 😊. Humour is healing between the tears. I was diagnosed with a second cancer this week, oh lucky? Me. It’s SCC, known as squamous skin cancer. I received the news on Wednesday and had a procedure on Thursday to remove it from my left leg. Recovery I hope goes well, and I’m hoping that it doesn’t come back quickly, but it will come back I’m told by the experts. Pottery is my saviour and I hope to pound some clay soon! #skincancer #breastcancer #weneedacure Hug your people, dance in the kitchen, and see the wonder of ordinary things 🤗. I’m grateful for my medical team 🥰 by @the_potters_path

Cancer Reading Challenge Fundraiser 2026! Canadian Cancer Society
