there are very rare moments in life where the magic they contain makes them seem surreal, they happen almost never..this one is one of those. the amount of love and kindness i’ve received from this community and this company is difficult to put into words. GRB and its community will always be family to me. my only hope is that during these 8 years my colleagues and my audiences had taken something positive from my work, however small. from the bottom of my heart, perpetually, thank you. taken in Peter Martin Wege Theatre by @the_pudding_boy

Today, May 3rd, company dancer Josué Justiz will take his final bow with Grand Rapids Ballet after eight seasons.

What makes Josué extraordinary is not only the range of what he danced, but the quality of attention he brought to each role. Technique was always the beginning, never the end. He leaves behind performances that audiences will not forget.

Thank you Josué, it’s been an honor. taken in Grand Rapids Ballet by @the_pudding_boy
