I don’t know I’ve done an About Me post since I started this account a few years ago! Well hi, I’m Abby and here are some facts about me.

1. I am 27 years old.
2. My favorite thing to do is read!
3. I got married on 12/22/2022 in Coeur D’Alene Idaho.
4. I also like to draw.
5. I love cats and I have three named Inky, Gemma, and Rocky.
6. I just discovered that I love pomegranate seeds.
7. I also like boba tea.
8. I have a bachelor’s in cello performance.
9. I have a master’s in library science (and certificate in youth services!)
10. I don’t like cheesecake.
11. I talk (and once sang Hot to Go) in my sleep.
12. I’m good at jigsaw puzzles.

“There is no Antimemetics Division”, by qntm, is a genuinely disturbing sci-fi horror that will have you questioning reality long after you close the book. How do you fight a being that destroys anyone that perceives it? Who, and what can we trust if not our own perception of reality?
At only 220 pages, this is a nightmarish and terrifying experience set in an office that does... I forget...

Thank you to NetGalley and to Harpercollins Publishing for an eARC of the recently published book Renegades: The Magic Awakens, the start of a new series by Erin Hunter! The magical cats made this very fun to read, however I don’t know if Erin Hunter will ever write another book that lives up to the Warriors series. by @the_rainydayreader

This past week I experienced Paris and the famous Shakespeare and Company bookstore. The building, constructed in the early 17th century, was originally a monastery but became a bookstore in 1951. Since then Shakespeare and Co. has become a Paris anglophone literary hub and even a home-away-from-home for traveling writers, as the original Shakespeare and Co. was in the first half of the 1900’s, housing writers like Fitzgerald, Hemingway, and even James Joyce, whose work Ulysses was published by the bookstore. taken in Shakespeare and Company by @the_rainydayreader
