When my mum passed away, she left behind a box of old family photographs. ❤️

None of us knew what to do with them. But I couldn’t bear to throw them away.

Among those photographs was this little boy - my grandfather.

As a child, he spent hours running through the fields with his beloved dog, creating imaginary adventures together.

One day, his uncle captured a moment of that childhood.

Decades later, I was able to bring that precious memory to life.

And it made me realise something…

We don’t just inherit photographs. We inherit stories.

I never thought I’d see an old photograph of my grandparents move again. ❤️

I wished to bring this moment back to life for my grandpa. ❤️

I never thought losing my mum would lead me to discovering such a beautiful way to keep her memories alive. ❤️

After she passed away, I found myself looking through old family photographs, wishing I could see her smile again, watch her expressions, and remember those little movements that made her so special.

That’s when I discovered AI photo animation.

What started as a way of bringing one precious photograph back to life soon became something much bigger.

I began restoring old photographs, transforming them into moving memories, and eventually creating little cinematic photo movies that told the story of her life.

Seeing her smile and move again, even for just a few seconds, meant more to me than I can put into words. ❤️

When I shared these animated family photographs with friends and family, I never expected their reaction. They wanted me to do the same with their own treasured photographs.

And that’s where my journey with Cinematic Photo Movies really began.
