Hope everyone had a happy Halloween! I went to my friend Claire’s house to give our candy cuz she gets all the trick or treaters in her neighborhood, then I went home and watched Phantom of the Paradise. I left 7 treat bags on my front porch & they were still there when I got home. by @the_spangle_maker

The feeling of pure joy when I check my mailbox and find this month’s edition of Marisol Muro’s Purrtty Sweet Mail Club! How adorable is this Halloween edition! 🧡🎃🖤🐈‍⬛ by @the_spangle_maker

I did a little shopping today from some awesome vendors at @vtgclt Fall Market. Love these whimsical vintage-inspired pumpkins! by @the_spangle_maker

It’s beginning to look a lot like Halloween 🎃 Here’s my Halloween tree and the last two photos are of my display table. Many of my decorations are from @vintagehalloweenstore #vintagestylehalloween by @the_spangle_maker

Although I’m saddened by her passing, 102 years is truly remarkable. Rest in peace Eva Marie Saint. This photo is from one of my favorites, All Fall Down. by @the_spangle_maker

Today I attended @mthollyncpride & participated in the Dolly Parton portrait search. All I had to do was sing the assigned Dolly tune to receive my print and I was able to collect all four by some of my favorite artists. by @the_spangle_maker

After the Sunday farmers market I treated myself to a little haul from the @belmont.bookshop — I finished Coffin Moon last night and started Grasshands this evening. by @the_spangle_maker

Thank you Dolly for your music, your philanthropy, and your kindness. Rest well with the angels. 🦋 by @the_spangle_maker

It’s been a minute since I’ve shared some food pictures, but I think today seems appropriate since it’s my birthday! I had dinner with Claire this evening at Tasty, she also gave me a pretty little cake that reminded me of a topiary from the Sugarlicious Bakery. The last photo is from my lunch last Saturday with @ekat91 at One19 North Main. by @the_spangle_maker

I’m saddened by the news last night about Pokee’s passing. He was such a strong boy, surviving numerous surgeries so this came as a shock. I’m heartbroken for Mel & Zane Lamprey. I met Zane in early May after seeing his comedy performance at Traust Brewery. I wore my Pokee T-shirt — I purchased it five years ago when the Lampreys were fostering him, and his name was Pinocchio. I told Zane how touched I was by his story and how Pokee has my heart. He was such a special kitty, & the world feels so much darker without him. by @the_spangle_maker

Look at this beautiful eBay score from a few weeks ago-an original mono pressing of the Walker Brothers third album, Portrait, from 1966. One interesting thing about this sleeve is the flipback cover, which means the laminated front cover wraps around and is glued to a non-laminated back cover. And how sweet is that autographed insert! I’m a huge fan of Scott Walker and I’m overjoyed to add this record to my collection. The vinyl is near mint condition, too. #scottwalker #noelscottengel #walkerbrothers #vinylcollectionpost #vinylcollector by @the_spangle_maker

Yesterday I picked up my customized perfume creation from @shopsorce and it smells divine! It’s a lovely shape-shifter of a fragrance because at first I smell cardamom but then the jasmine appears and I get those two notes playing harmoniously whenever I sniff my wrist. The dry down is that delicious green tea vanilla ice cream🍵🍦Yum! #matchmadeinheaven #sorceperfume #nicheperfume by @the_spangle_maker
