Meet our new Director: Marius Woldberg.

The first AI start-ups and scale-ups moved into The Stack on September 1. Now we move from launch to growth, and Marius is leading the way.

He's built hubs before: at Perron038 in Zwolle, he went from an idea to a community of 20+ organisations. At The Stack, his focus is simple: bringing founders together, connecting them with customers, and opening doors to talent and capital.

Huge thanks to our Founding Director Esther Bisschop, who built The Stack from idea to opening.

Welcome, Marius. Let's build AI here in Europe, not just use it.

Seen her yet? 👀✨

Our Founding Director Esther Bisschop is one of 30 women founders and tech professionals on posters across Amsterdam. She's part of the Role Model Campaign by @equals.nl with our Founding Partner Prosus.

Ahead of Diversity Day on 6 October, these posters show all our female talent in the ecosystem. AI is moving fast, and women are still underrepresented among the people building it.

It doesn't stop at posters: Equals is hosting 8 AI Nights for women in AI throughout October and November.

Have you spotted the poster already?

What a week. Thank you, @humanxconf for having The Stack at your first-ever European conference, and for choosing Amsterdam as its home. Amsterdam is taking its place as one of Europe's AI capitals, and it was great to be part of that moment.

Some highlights:
→ Our co-founder Constantijn van Oranje, Special Envoy at Techleap, on the HumanX stage
→ The deputy mayor of Amsterdam mentioning The Stack
-> Our Head of Members Growth, Community and Ecosystem Engagement, @evabandelj judging the Pitch Competition on Wednesday
-> Our Founding Director as moderator on The Cube Stage on Thursday
→ Meeting so many of you who already know The Stack and share our excitement for the AI hub we're building in Oostenburg. It was nice to hear we were part of the talk of the town, during

Congrats Team HumanX, what an event and a great achievement to put Amsterdam on the map once more as AI Capital.

See you at The Stack!

From ideas to realisation. A little behind the scenes when our founders shared their thought process while doing a construction tour. We're progressing as fast as developments in the space, don't let these BTS's fool you.

AI is built in layers. So are we.
Waitlist for the next stack via our website.

The Stack is coming to life.

This September, we’re opening our doors at Jacob Bontiusplaats 9 in Oostenburg, Amsterdam — 4,500 m² built for the most promising fast-growing startups, curated from day one.

And this is just the start. By 2029, we’re scaling to 12,000 m² and 200+ companies under one roof.

The hub for Europe’s next generation of builders is taking shape. 🚀 by @the_stack_ai
