❗️Stella’s update❗️
Two weeks ago our lives completely changed. After a failed attempt to get on the couch, Stella became partially paralyzed. We found out she has IVDD and had an emergency spinal surgery to repair a disc that burst.
Yesterday we had our two-week post op appointment - we are able to stop all medication, she removed her staples and our amazing surgeon said she can have slow walks (5min max) without support. We tried, and this is what we saw… 😭
Praise our Lord 🙏
A big thank you to Dr. Furman and the amazing staff at Veterinary Neurology Center in Tustin 🐾
Thank you for all the love, prayers and healing thoughts sent to our little girl ❤️
We still have a journey ahead, but we won’t stop!

Skye 💫 her story below 👇
On March 15th, Alex and I ran to a plaza parking lot as someone was surrendering her to us…”They no longer wanted her”

On March 11th, Alex was walking Stella when he saw a man walking this beautiful little pug girl. He approached and asked about her as pug parents often do. Without hesitation, the man said “she is my friend’s, but she doesn’t want her anymore and is selling her for $100”. Frazzled, Alex exchanged numbers with the man and stated he will be in contact. We later called and arranged to pick her up. 10 minutes after getting off the phone, they called us saying they would no longer get rid of her. 2 days later, the man called Alex and said they changed their mind and they were selling her for $150. We dropped everything and went to meet up with him before they changed their minds again. We didn’t know what condition she was in, any abuse or mistreatment, so it was urgent. We met up with the man holding this beautiful little girl, paid the $150 and ran as fast as we could to a nearby vet to check for a microchip.. unfortunately she did not have one.

Welcome to the Pug Queen Family baby girl. You are safe and we are looking for your forever home where you will experience nothing but love! Thank you @thepugqueen for everything and @fern_ee for helping us while giving her all the love for a few days!
