It wasn't money that sustained us.
It wasn't our power that brought us this far.
It wasn't the best diet that kept us alive.

It has been God Almighty alone.

This cannot be normal!
This cannot be normal.

My family church in can be next. My Aunties and grand Aunty can be this old woman running for safety just because she came to pray and worship God.

Can everybody be allowed to carry a gun?
Can we just allow everyone to defend themselves because it is obvious prayers aren't working?

The more we pray rhe more the evil persists, the more we hope, the more our people are killed.

When will this end! by @the_teslim.id

Our salvation will not come from Washington DC

On the backdrop of this buhaha on the absence of peace and complete failure of governce in Nigeria

I strongly believe sustainable peace will ONLY be achieved when educated and moderate Muslims in both southern and northern Nigeria begain to preach in their gatherings and to their followers that humanity is way above jihad, or any religious fundamentals that prides on killing to prove a point .

Sustainable peace will come when every religious person begins to write on their public post that no one big enough to defend, fight or kill to honour their saviour, their prophet or allah! allah should be able to defend himself!

Peace will come when no one is told to die, kill or conquer another man's land so they can go have sex with 72 virgins in Heaven.

We are first human beings before we ever recognised weather we eare white or black, Christians or Muslim, and Peace will come when we all come together to openly and secretly confesses that religion and his fundaments cannot and will never be above humanity.

Anything short is more bokoharm, more isis, more destruction, more genocide and more jihad

What some of your parents do to stay close to power is unimaginable.
Even the colonial masters did not subject their puppets to this form of humiliation.

My prayers is that God bless the work of my hand and give me a divine heart of contentment so that I won't be a slave to fellow humans because of worldly materials...

Amen

The past is filled with heroes to whom we can learn.

Finally, after three decades since the murder and the unceremonious burial of Captain Thomas Sankara and his 12 companions.

Captain Ibrahim Traoré has inaugurated the Thomas Sankara Mausoleum and his 12 companions in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso 🇧🇫. The Mausoleum of Thomas Sankara and his 12 companions is finally a reality!

The mausoleum dedicated to Captain Thomas Sankara and his 12 companions was officially inaugurated on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Ouagadougou, under the patronage of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of Burkina Faso and Head of State.

First slide was last week, second slide is this week. None of the two incidents were discussed at neither the Senate Chambers nor at Security Council.

These people are discussing 2027 political dynamics at the detriment of National security.

Thomas Sankara: The Upright Man

Born in 1949, and by 1983 at age 34, he became the president of Burkina Faso after he led a successful revolution that shook the foundations of African politics.

Sankara's vision was simple yet radical: he believed African must be self-reliance, social justice, and Pan-African unity.

Tragically, his life was cut short when he was assassinated in 1987 at age 38 by his best friend

Thomas Sankara's story teaches us:

Courage is contagious.
Visionary leadership can transform societies.
Africa's future lies in self-reliance and unity.

Sankara's spirit remains upright, inspiring generations to rise against injustice and build a better Africa.

"While revolutionaries as individuals can be murdered, you cannot kill ideas." - Thomas Sankara

The Nelson Mandela you don't know.

On his ninetieth birthday in 2008, he has a request to phone Buckingham Palace and speak to the queen.

Hullo Elizabeth, how's the Duke? He said; perhaps only he could have got away with such disregard for royal decorum.

When his wife Graca reprimanded him, he retorted: "Well she calls me Nelson" 🤣
