Imagine getting this upset over someone pointing out that a 24 hour “hunger strike” isn’t a hunger a strike. Over the last 12 months there’s consistently been people with this energy and mindset that show up at the MDC and push people out while pretending like they’re doing something. I, and countless other people, stop going to the MDC because of the people that act like this. Last June before people that acted like this hijacked the space outside the MDC thousands of people of all demographics showed up to stand against ICE but then when the curfew was put in place back then all of a sudden people that supported divisive behavior and actions started appearing and pushed people apart and out. Also it’s sus dude said they raised money for “US AID” given that 1. It’s USAID (United States agency for international development) not US AID 2. Dudes a grifter making that claim tbh by @the_tpenny

I’ll add the story with a link to this article in the educational purposes highlights but people should read it and need to realize they’re setting up the same foundation here for the early stages of what’s been happening in Gaza. LAPD and many other large PD’s use the same drone manufacturing company #losangeles #naza #gaza by @the_tpenny

Just wanted to post some videos showing why drones can be a really good tool for documenting abuse of power by law enforcement. DJI which hands down makes the best consumer drones is about to be banned because congress refuses to do a review and in a few weeks it will cause DJI to automatically get banned because they refuse to do a review. If anyone has a way to quickly get in touch with members of congress involved with the oversight committees grilling DHS can they please reach out. taken in Los Angeles, California by @the_tpenny

For more context the whole jumping thing started with me walking away from a vigil that was talking about people who had recently been killed by ICE and having only hung out and talked with my friends then Toby ran up from behind me and sucker punched me after reportedly gathering people to join in beforehand. The dude who jumped me goes by resistdacoup on socials and is the one who runs the Tesla diner takedown protest by @the_tpenny

Just a reminder how before a certain group made it their mission to threaten, push out and assault countless people and cause endless drama that LA had some pretty awe inspiring moments embracing the diversity that makes Los Angeles the city of angels when we’ve been unified. These are only a few brief snippets of those moments and don’t even do Angelenos justice on the subject. All this following the wildfires that were devastating but also showed what LA can do when we’re united. There were days during the fires it was legit a challenge to find places to volunteer or take donations to because so many people came together by @the_tpenny
