The relentless passage of existence demands an acknowledgement that life persists with cold, calculated indifference, entirely unbothered by those who enter or exit our orbits, or the shifting tides of external approval and disdain. It remains blind to the spectrum of our light and darkness, unmoved by our internal states, and offers no mechanism for retreat into the memories of yesterday.
