Just got my new 3” stainless @corsaperformance Double-Helix X-Pipe installed in my 2017 Shelby GT350 this morning. It REALLY woke the sound of this car up! With no resonators, it is basically the same factory exhaust setup for the GT350R (Racing version) cars. Now, with the valves closed, it’s as loud as it used to be with them open, and with them open, it just sounds absolutely nasty and ruthless! I love it!

Alright, so here’s some fresh photos I took this morning in the daylight, as it got too dark on me last night by the time I got things situated with the transport driver, and all that.

The 5.2L Voodoo engine is the most powerful naturally-aspirated engine that Ford has ever produced! Putting out an impressive 526 HP, and 430 TQ, and can rev to a ridiculous 8,250 RPMs in stock form! It’s an absolute monster! Every single 5.2L Voodoo engine is individually parts inspected and hand assembled one at a time, by a master engine builder at the Ford Racing Division in Flat Rock, MI. They are not your typical mass-produced assembly line motor. Once you start boosting it with turbos or a supercharger, the numbers start rising dramatically.

The Shelby GT350 is a true muscle car, in every sense of the term.

As most of you are unaware… On May 2nd I was in a really bad car wreck (single vehicle, nobody else was involved or hurt) that absolutely destroyed my Jeep Gladiator. It had been a long week at work, I fell asleep behind the wheel about 2 miles from home, ran off the road and hit a huge pine tree at 60mph. The Jeep literally blew apart (my Warn winch broke in half). The Jeep then rolled, I got ejected from the vehicle, and it put me in the SICU for over a week, and I’ve been recovering at home ever since. I’m hoping to eventually make a full recovery.

I honestly should be dead… But God decided my job here wasn’t done, and gave me a wonderful 2nd chance at life. One that I will no longer squander waiting on life to find me. Now I’m chasing it.

I had to replace my Jeep with a new vehicle, and since I commute 2 hours everyday, I need something that got way better fuel mileage. That means I would need to get a car this time (I still have my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4). Well, if I was going to get a car I was going to get one I was familiar with…Which means V8 and RWD.

So, I bought my dream car! I found a showroom condition 2017 Mustang Shelby GT350 with only 20,300 original miles on it. My old 2017 Mustang GT 5.0 Performance Pack averaged about 23-24 MPG highway, so I’m hoping I can squeeze close to that out of this one. More pictures to come tomorrow when it’s daylight and I can take some.

New video with my new recording setup… It’s still not perfect, but it sounds WAY better than it did before. I’m definitely going in the right direction now.

My 1992 @mesaengineering Dual Rectifier Rev-F, and original 1999 Mesa Standard Oversized 4x12 cab w/ the original 1999 @celestionuk Vintage 30’s, being mic’d up through a @lewittaudio DTP-340-TT, with a @neutrikamericas Cloudlifter CL-25 Mini, into the Lewitt Connect 2 interface with +48 Phantom Power, into GarageBand on my my MacBook.

The guitar is my 2025 ESP/LTD Josh Middleton JM-1, with a @fishmanmusic Fluence Modern pickup, and @ernieball Mammoth Slinky .012-.062 strings.

Picked up this @newriff 6 Year Single Barrel 2025 Alabama ABC Barrel Pick a few months ago… This is an absolutely amazing bottle of bourbon! I managed to find the last 3 bottles in the whole state sitting at one of my local stores, and bought all 3 of them. I hope the 2026 barrel pick will be just as good.

Scored another unicorn bottle last month and forgot to post it… Finally added a @jackdaniels_us Coy Hill Barrelhouse No. 8 to my collection. This one comes in just a few weeks shy of 11 years in the barrel, and is 128.2 Proof. It’s not a hazmat Coy Hill, but for what I paid for it, I definitely can’t complain. It’s just nice to finally have a Coy Hill in the collection.

Thanks to a good friend of mine, this week I was lucky enough to add another BTAC bottle to my personal bourbon collection. I was able to get my hands on my most desired unicorn bottle… The all new 2025 George T. Stagg! The 2025 offering is coming in at a STAGGering 142.8 Proof, which is makes this a Hazmat (140+) bottle.

In the photos, it is sitting beside my bottle of 2025 Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye, also part of the @buffalotracedistillery Antique Collection. Both are incredibly bold high-proof bourbons, which I highly recommend you trying if you get the chance. 👍🏼
