This is Chalk. A band from Ireland per the recommendation of David at @nycdowninalbion . It was their 1st show in NY and they were absolutely incredible. Give them a listen, they will definitely be at a bigger venue when they return. Congratulations to the good homies in @thisispolica on their lucky number 7th album, DREAMS GO. This summer, they invited me to the video shoot for “Wasted Me” at @acmestage here in Minneapolis and afterwards I interviewed all the collaborating artists. It was a huge production and everybody got properly soaked as you can see in this still photograph. Link in bio for my scene report. taken in ACME Stage by @the_uglyghost

I met these beautiful lads 20 years ago, and we toured the States twice, Norway once. Made music videos, shot hours and hours of footage and the reason I know about all things Minneapolis. As "Hurra Torpedo" they played their final show at the Tons of Rock festival, and it was an epic end to a legacy. Wonderfully talented, bold, witty, and never afraid to express or explore a creative vision. To my Norwegian brørs, Egil, Kristopher, Aslag (and Mads), i am eternally grateful for the experiences and opportunities and inspiration you've given me. taken in Tons Of Rock by @the_uglyghost

——————————————————————— 🗣 New! - Lana Del Rey @honeymoon on Coney Island in 2009, posing for her Keds Collective promotional video by John Carlucci! Thank you all for 15K, it’s been so crazy seeing so many people fall in love with Lana’s early career over the last few years! 🧾Taken by John Carlucci @the_uglyghost, who took photos of Lana in 2009 and kindly sent me these last February (and for Scott, who connected me to John). Thank you both immensely again; I haven’t forgotten! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 🎞 August 26th, 2009 - Lana Del Rey posing on the side of a truck, parked on the side of the Coney Island Beach Shop, on Coney Island for her Keds Collective promotional video. ▪️ 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 / 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁: ➖ Scott M. Cohn @daddysatonaduck - producer, writer, video editor ➖ John Carlucci @the_uglyghost - photographer, director, camera operator ➖ Dan Lubell @getaloadofnow - director, camera operator ➖ Dan Sheehan @sheehandigital - photo editor 🗣 In 2009, Lana was invited to join Keds Collective, as the brand was rounding up ~30 other upcoming artists, musicians and other creative talent around the United States to design Keds sneakers. As a part of her short partnership with Keds, Lana filmed a promotional video with the help of John, Scott, and Dan, just before the release of her shoe line. After being forgotten for roughly 3 years, Lana’s video with Keds re-emerged onto YouTube in May 2012 after the release of her album “Born to Die”. Unfortunately, entertainment and news articles were sent emails to take the video down by Lana’s publicist at the time, and those who worked on the project had no clue that it even gained popularity. Despite being heavily reposted by LDR fans later on, the unedited clips from her Keds Collective video were deleted after either Scott Cohn’s digital shop (or more likely Keds Collective) merged with another agency in 2018. Updates on the project were stagnant, up until I woke up up the project last year 🤭 🏜️Follow @lizzyology for more photos and picture information🏜️ ——————————————————————— by @the_uglyghost
