Summary of my documentary?…MAKE EGGS CHEAP AGAIN!

There was a time when eggs were the go-to recommendation for families trying to eat protein on a budget. If you couldn’t afford meat or fish, people would say, “At least buy eggs.”
Today, even that option is slipping out of reach for many households. What used to be the cheapest source of protein is becoming a luxury for families already struggling with the rising cost of living.

These are real people cutting back on nutrition or settling for less because they simply can’t afford what used to be basic.

Think about the parents trying to put together a simple breakfast before their children leave for school. The students living on a tight budget. The young adults like me trying to eat healthier. The elderly who rely on eggs because they’re nutritious.

It is sickening that many people have to think twice before buying something as essential as eggs.

Two days ago, I bought a crate of eggs for ₦6,400 and that irked every bone in my body.
