While northern Europe is shivering into winter, a reminder that the Balearics are still serving up al fresco dinners in 25°C in October 🫒☀️

Head to the north of Mallorca (near Sóller and Deià) where the Tramuntana mountains offer dreamy sunsets, panoramic pools, and fine dining with a view.

Table for two, 2026 💁‍♀️

Sunset, candlelight, fresh fish, and views all the way to Thailand ✨️

The beachfront dining is an experience not to be missed at Casa del Mar on Langkawi island. We enjoyed the 'romántico' 5-course tasting menu, which absolutely lived up to its name, against one of the most spectacular sunsets imaginable.

And you can dine here even if you're not a guest 🎉 (but, trust us - you'll want to be a guest)

This is the perfect place to experience long summer nights, star-gazing from your private Swedish hot tub 🌅🌒⭐️

Glen Dye Cabins and Cottages seems to be everywhere at the moment, and for good reason. Whether you're renting a cottage for a group of friends or a romantic getaway for two (we recommend the shepherd's hut, as seen in this reel), everyone is catered for.

When you're not dancing in the onsite byob pub (see grid for more on that), a warm soak under the stars before returning to the warmth of your cabin is just about as good as it gets.

Enjoying every single angle of the best views in the Douro Valley at @vila_marim_country_houses 🌺🫒

Our time here was slow and sun-kissed, spent doing almost nothing - and a wardrobe consisting solely of swimwear 👙

Are you watching the screen or the view? 🤷‍♀️

We found this picture-perfect rooftop cinema in Porto, with exclusive views of one of Europe's most iconic skylines, including the famous Eiffel bridge.

Cine Society runs all summer in Porto and Lisbon, playing the classics (this one was Forrest Gump) against the most impressive backdrop.

Maximalist perfection in Cornwall 🌺🌺🌺

This gorgeous former gatehouse has been converted into a luxury cottage for two, complete with standalone bathtub, two reception rooms, sauna and hot tub.

The owners have put so much care and thought into décor, with vintage finds and design flourishes at every turn.

This is our second stay at one of the @tregawne_farm_cottages properties and we'll definitely be back again.

It's your last chance to get a final summer break before the autumn properly sets in, and this is the ideal place.

We recently stayed at @vila_marim_country_houses in Portugal's stunning Douro Valley. It was the ideal time of year to visit: long sun-soaked days by the pool and wine harvesting season in the region 🍇

And the view is just 😍

This was the ideal place to unwind, switch off for a few days, and take in the final rays of the season.

Cosy season's incoming 🔥, which means it's time to start planning some cosy weekends/staycations.

This place made for a perfect off-grid escape last winter, complete with private sauna, woodburning fire, and unbeatable secluded location in a Highland Estate.

One of the perks of staying in one of the luxury cabins at @eaglebrae is private access to stunning walks in Glen Affric, and coming in from the cold to the warmth of your sauna 😍

📌 Thar Desert, India

One of the most memorable experiences from our recent trip to Rajasthan was sunset dinner in the desert, cooked from scratch over a wood fire.

We booked the half-day sunset safari through @marvin_camel_safari in Jaisalmer. Our amazing tour guide, Fatan, was from a nomadic family and regaled us with stories of the region and local culture on the journey to the desert.

When we arrived at the dunes at sunset, we were the only people for miles in the desert.

After dinner, we had time to stargaze under unpolluted desert skies in complete peace and quiet ⭐️⭐️

Jaisalmer had been a 'maybe' on our Rajasthan itinerary due to timing, but this was by far one of the best things we did on our trip.

For our trip to Valletta, we chose to stay at 1926 La Galerie. This rooftop pool was 100% the deciding factor 💎⛪️

That's the dome of Valletta's cathedral, almost within touching distance.

1926 La Galerie is a boutique hotel right in the most central part of Valletta's old town. The rooms are like mini suites, and the theme is all about the artistic greats.

Cocktail hour is something we really love in a hotel, and this one hosted theirs on the amazing rooftop as the sun was setting 😍

An unexpected last min trip turned out to be the perfect summer destination: Malta 🇲🇹

We explored ruins by day, swam in turquoise water, tried food that's part Sicilian, North African and British, and danced all night on a historic bridge.
