A little evening walk the the beautiful skinny bridge is always worth it and I like to walk that way at least one evening per week. It has something calming about it. The wooden structure and of course the reflections of the gorgeous homes by the Amstel river…

And yes, it is just 10 min by foot from our B&B…

Thank you, September! You have been really good to us! We were blessed with mild temperatures, lots of beautiful days and sunshine and lovely guests! Slowly feeling ready for October and looking forward to the autumn colours now. Let’s hope we can keep some sunshine ☀️

Autumn is here and let us tell you, it’s a gorgeous time in Amsterdam. Cosy but beautiful with the changing colours and the sound of the leaves under your feet while exploring this wonderful city.

We still have some availability for October! Weekends are almost fully booked, but the weekend of 09
October is still available in our lovely Silk room, and the last weekend of October in our Suite. Also, some weeknights are still free mid/end of the month.

Contact us for details or check availability online!

The new week starts with a mix of rain and sunshine in Amsterdam. I always like this time when the seasons are changing. You can definitely feel the fall in the air now, while the late summer is still showing itself in between 💛🍁🌈☀️ by @the_weavery

🌈 there it was, on my way home tonight, just when I stepped out of the metro. this beautiful double rainbow! To me it felt extra special to receive this wonderful magic today. So I am sharing it with everyone else who needs a bit of magic at the moment and with all the wonderful angels out there in the sky! ☁️🌈 by @the_weavery

We love our little rug store.
Just a 7 min walk from our home and B&B, it’s set just a stone’s throw away from the popular Albert Cuypmarket. The area is called De Pijp and it’s super relaxed, yet fashionably cool, very lively and nice to explore! During the day you can enjoy a nice stroll along the nice stores and the market, and in the evening it offers a great choice of easygoing restaurants and bars!
