I went through a deep transformation in the past several years as this was brought to my attention

How disconnected I was
How far I had fallen

It’s been a struggle to rise above wickedness, and ironically it is by descending into humility and groundedness that this is overcome

I have to admit to my wrongs to grow from them

As long as man reconciles his sins, he can never be free from them

Every time he falls…
He has to confess, repent, and strive to do better

Get up and turn back to God in prayer and meditation

This is how we heal ourselves
This is how we bring healing to the masculine and the feminine

And rise to the occasion, to be the men that this world needs us to be

It may not be easy
It may feel impossible
But with God, anything is possible

I really became interested in Christ when I started reading the sayings of the Saints. It’s probably @illuminaticongo who first put me on. I was reading the Bible already but reading their words clarified things I wasn’t understanding. It revealed to me the fruits of living more Christ-like…humility, honor, reverence, respect, unconditional love, joy, peace, forgiveness, mercy, confident, faithful, and always striving to be more in Christ. And the fact that what they are saying is so similar to saints and mystics of other cultures and places in the world. They are all pointing to the One God.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people evangelizing and working miracles in the streets. It’s very inspiring, but in some cases it feels forceful. I can’t judge or say they are “doing it wrong,” but it reveals how I want to “speak more gently, not answer harshly, forgive a mistake, and lift someone up with a kind of word” in the words of Fr Pimen Vlad.

I pray these compiled words offer strength, courage, and solace to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen 🙏

I love writing and playing alone but it is such a sacred experience to be witnessed in this way

So grateful for everybody singing along to songs you heard for the first time, and for the depth of presence of those truly tuned in and listening and joining in the experience

The extent to which all these are not being provided is the extent upon which you are not seeking the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness

What does it mean to me to seek the Kingdom of God?

To bring awareness to God in all that I do

And to think, speak, and act and live righteously to the best of my ability

And when I do this, the energy is taken away from things that don’t actually make me magnetic to what I need

And is given to the one (God) that actually can magnetize and provide all that is needed and more

A reminder for myself that is hopefully useful for somebody else seeing this as well.

“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Take your time to take in the lyrics and vibrations

Singing and writing are two of the gifts God has given me in this life, and the best thing I can do with them is use them to glorify and praise Him, and reflect my honest journey of searching and seeking to help direct and point people to God

God loves you so much

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

I have found that the man Jesus was God, the Way, the Dao, the nameless formless taking form as His creation, to show us how to live holy lives, and how to love, how to lay our lives down for one another, and that in this we honor God.

I believe that rejecting Jesus is rejecting God, because He was the epitome of how we are to live and love

And when we reject him, we reject the gift of salvation given through Him

My songs have explored the various spiritual paths for years as has my consciousness, and they have all seemed to point back to Christ Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

“I am the alpha and the omega. I am the first and the last.”

“Before Abraham was, I AM.”

“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

“I and the Father are One.”

The Way is shown and the Light shines upon the narrow path. Many will be called, few will answer and take the journey.

This is the initiation, the sacred rites, to glorify the Kingdom of God in our earthly lives by living as true to the Word as possible, and to believe in Him, for it is our faith that heals us.

Friday October 16th (tomorrow) 6-8 PM @awakeuvita I will be sharing my original medicine songs

These songs are devotional, born from love and heartbreak alike, and they have a way of cracking hearts open.

That’s the intention behind this space: to help you feel what’s been waiting to be felt, even things you didn’t know were there. In that feeling, there’s healing.

This isn’t a traditional medicine-music sing-along; every song is original. But you’re welcome to harmonize, bring an instrument, dance, sway, or simply close your eyes and let the music move through you.

However you’re called to show up; feeling, singing, moving, or listening...there’s room for you here.

They say your true friends aren’t afraid to correct you or tell you the truth

And that may be so

But what if your “true friends” are constantly criticizing you

Not really paying attention to how their words are affecting you, not really being present with the impact of this criticism

Your true friends also pay attention, and offer words of encouragement rather than criticism

They notice when you need that boost of confidence

We don’t realize how far these simple things can go

A smile, a nod, a fist bump, a laugh, a “go on, a “you got this,” a “I’m proud of you,” a “you’re a good friend, I appreciate you…”

Earlier I was expressed discouragement to a brother of mine, and not long after I heard him bumping my old songs

He might not have done that to intentionally make me feel better, but it did…it reminded me who I am and how far I’ve come and what I’ve accomplished…it was encouraging

The words I share here are the contemplation of all of this, and how these little things we can do for one another can have such a massive and unseen impact

I hope these words impact you positively

I love you
I appreciate you
And I am proud of you

Keep going, you got this

I’m grateful for the book of wisdom in my life and I invite you to its pages

I am preparing daily to share my original music at @awakeuvita on this upcoming Friday the 16th for a live set of Heart Songs around the fire

This will be an intimate show, and space for us to share in presence, and for me to share the songs which have through me in times of joy and times of sorrow and everything in between

The music is how I process,
it is how I transmute
It helps me feel, and it helps me heal
And the prayer is that it will do something similar for who listening

None of the visuals are “my art,” but the words poured through yesterday, and yet how can I say these strings of word are my own either?

All I know is I believe in the message. It is better to create than to not create out of fear of criticism, or self-punishment for thinking what you create isn’t good enough.

The Spirit of God is within you, and creates through you.

Do not prevent yourself from at least trying.

Are my creations perfect? I don’t think so, but for somebody else, they are inspiring, and encouraging, and healing, and surely then they are playing their role

You are the art. You are in the art. This world is the masterpiece of the Lord, our God and Creator.

Let us take what we have been given and steward it well while we are here

We all have creative gifts as the Life principle inherent is itself creative, so let us use this creative power to create

You may think you are not an artist, or you can’t create, or you have tried but it wasn’t good, but you are your own worst critic.

Nobody who is truly an artist for God will put you down. I will always encourage you to create art for God, in the ways expressed through the gifts He has given you

Create today my friends! Create! And share it! Create today and share it!

You will know them by their fruits

Truthfully I am a sinful man

I try to follow Christ but I continue to fall short

Yet I also continue to repent, to get back up from falling, and to turn back to God

And because of God’s grace through the gift of Christ Jesus, I know I cannot fail

I know that victory is near

I see how the beast tries to distort everything

And fill me with fear and worry and doubt and regret

But with the sword of peace, and the full armor of God, and the Spirit of Christ, the very same that conquered death, I know I will succeed
