SAYLA photo dump 📸

This was such a fun week and it gave us so much leadership opportunities as we visited many local non-profit organizations and businesses. It was also a great way to make new friends and meet new people and I really enjoyed this opportunity.

Brief breakdown on our week:

Saturday - We went to Newcombs Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels for an overnight stay and that day we did team bonding and getting to know each other 🏕

Sunday - We left Newcombs Tennis Ranch and we went to the Chamber to learn about our "BANK codes" 🏦

Monday - We visited many non-profit organizations in Guadalupe County learning about how they contribute to our community and how they operate. This was the day we started brainstorming a project to give back to these organizations or our community 🫂

Tuesday - We went around Seguin to visit the fire and police stations (but sadly we didn't get to see the inmates). We also toured the Justice Center and talked to one of the Judges there 🚨

Wednesday- We went to the Joint Military Base in San Antonio and learned about the different Jets and how people there are trained. We then went to TLU to get a tour around campus and the Alamo Group here in Seguin to see how they manufacture different parts. We then went to Destination Seguin to learn about how tourism affects our community 👥

Thursday - We visited CMC steel, Caterpillar, and Schaffler, learning about the different processes of manufacturing/engineering and were able to understand how they improve our community ⚙️

Friday - Our Cosmic Car Wash fundraiser to try to raise enough funds for our service project 🚗

Additional note - We need Jill to see this.. we miss you Jill... 🥲 by @theaceypacey
