CW: bad fall, injury

15/365: after a great session last night, I told myself to try this spin 1 last time and proceeded to fall on my right ankle 🙃 After crying and moping around, I tried to see the humour in this situation, hence the last clip lol

I've had my fair share of ankle sprains in the past and this is the worst one yet (still can't put any weight on it + need crutches). I still need to see a doc and get an x-ray. I hope it's nothing more than a grade 2 sprain, even if my symptoms say otherwise 😭🤞

To be real with y'all, I'm scared of what this may do to my skills as a skater and most importantly, my mental. But 1. I know I'm lucky that my injury is minor in comparison to what it could be and eventually, I'll be back doing what I love and 2. I shouldn't stress about the unknown. So here's to trying to stay positive through this recovery 🥂

5/365: nothing new yesterday cause my feet were KILLIN from day 4 but I finally got 1 foot pivots on vid!!! Now to work on doing it on my left foot 😬

I wish I had an older vid of me trying to do it (and failing) but I deleted it for more storage smh 😭

4/365: @2.melanin said we doing the 365 challenge so we doing the 365 challenge (again lol) 🤷‍♀️

This was yesterday's session and going from small space skating for the last 3 wks to this was 👩‍🍳😘 only got this for 4 more days tho :(

I worked on everything but tried new spin variations like sit spins, heel spins, and diff arm positions. I suck at all of the moves but when I got it just a lil bit, I was hyped af!! Haven't felt like that in a min so I'm excited to see the progress 😊

6/31: only skated for 30 mins last night so I just tried to flow non-stop and when this song came on... Whew ya girl was having a good time 💃

Also feeling better about the toe swivel move that I been seeing @a.j.bolton do!! Been working on it for a few wks so me happy, as you can see from my reaction lol 😁

Dec 2/31: I decided to start skating everyday for December cause I'm not happy with my progress and haven't been doing anything about it so here's me doing sum about it!! 👏

Plus I missed the transparency I had in my old vids so I wanna start that again by showing my process of getting moves down 😁

if anyone knows any tips for that first move there, pls comment/DM cause I'm on the struggle bus rn :(

Been on 62mm wheels for a while and I forgot the stability that 57s gave!! the stability made literally every move feel so much better, esp 1 foot moves
