Welcome back to my series ‘Things DJs Won’t Tell You’.

Part 4: Getting booked as a DJ.

Probably one of the biggest questions for DJs, especially when you’re just starting out.

Of course, we all want to play as many shows as possible. But don’t take the gigs you do get for granted.

Perform like it’s your last show. Give every set everything you’ve got.

And remember — it’s not only about building a relationship with your audience. Build a community with the people you work with too: promoters, event organisers, venues, artists and everyone behind the scenes.

We’re all creating something together, and there’s something really special about that union.

The music business is already transactional enough.

So let’s create communities, connections and families around the world. 🖤

My new families are @_sixlab_ and @femmefusionevents.co some special coming out soon… #djlifestyle #djbooking taken in London, United Kingdom by @theaksismusic
