Shoutout to my buddy @visionhomeperformance for helping to illustrate issues with ‘standard’ spray foam attics. These tunnels allow humidity into the attic, and without a proper ventilation system, WILL create humidity issues in the future #sprayfoam #sprayfoaminsulation #construction #homeinspection #mold taken in Signal Mountain, Tennessee by @thealanreed

HVAC industry standards have improved since the adoption of duct tightness testing, but older homes (even $3million houses like this one) can have serious mold issues if the ductwork was installed incorrectly #hvac #mold #construction #insulation #healthyhomes taken in Signal Mountain, Tennessee by @thealanreed

Swipe right to see the $300 boots that got ruined by #mold in this $2million dollar house. It’s only 2 years old! A small mistake during #construction can create massive problems! #hvac #insulation #remediation taken in Chattanooga, Tennessee by @thealanreed
