Be honest… would you have been able to keep working if you heard THIS during soundcheck?! 😭🥹

Because everybody in that room had to stop and listen. #riseup #godisgood🙏 #explore #talentedmusicians by @thealiasherae

Moments like these stretch you as a vocalist and a creative, and I live for them! 😭
I've been privileged to have gained most of my live performance experience with corporate bands that have all the bells and whistles; bgvs, in-ears with cues, very clear formatting, etc. But carrying an entire song by yourself is a whole different skill set, let along a whole 3 hour performance 😮‍💨.

So I now jump at the opportunity to do bar gigs BECAUSE they make me uncomfortable. I won't be satisfied til I can do it all with no sweat😂 ... I think most singers can relate #singer #laurynhill #livemusic #atlantaartist #explore taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @thealiasherae

Songwriting is so powerful. The ability to capture a feeling or an experience, that everyone talks about and that every person can relate to and express it as a totally new piece of art is what I hope my music will do one day 💕 Thank you Ms. Alicia Keys for this contribution to the musical world 👏🏾 #singingcover #vocalist #jazzband #aliciakeys #ifiaintgotyou by @thealiasherae

I asked God for patience, growth,
to meet the best version of myself...
then He broke me.
Don't tell me cause I know...
