Thank you, September.

For Boston at golden hour.

For working remotely in Miami, sneaking in a little extra summer, and landing, losing, and landing deals again.

For three ibis in an old oak, who know how to wait out a storm and are always the first to return. I needed that reminder.

For sun-kissed moments in my happy place.

In a month when old news came back unbearably heavy and close to home, you reminded me to hold my people tighter and my peace even closer.

Seeing the world with me in it, exactly as I was meant to. Independent. Solo. Happy.

Also learning that first class and beautiful purses are my new hobbies. And football. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø
And always ending home with my girls and main squeeze Charlie

And October? Already looking promising… there’s a Lion in town. šŸ¦šŸˆ taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @thealisonrobertson

Breakfast at Tiffany’s for my Ava Bean @avamarieboris

A little late celebrating 21, but somehow today felt exactly right.

Ava turned 21 on July 7 while spending her summer in Washington, D.C., interning at the Death Penalty Information Center. Now she’s beginning her senior year at Cornell, working with RAINN and starting her honors thesis.

And sometimes I just look at her and think… how did I get so lucky to be her mother?

I’m proud of everything she’s accomplished, but even more proud of who she is.

Her voice. Her mind. Her convictions. Her courage to stand for what she believes in—and her belief that she can help change the world.

She is thoughtful, fiercely independent, compassionate and entirely her own person.

I spent years trying to teach my daughters how to be strong women. Somewhere along the way, they started teaching me.

So for Ava’s very belated 21st celebration: brunch at RH followed by our own Breakfast at Tiffany’s. 🩵

Because every powerhouse woman deserves a little blue box.

Happy 21st, my beautiful girl. Watching you become you is one of the greatest privileges of my life. And you’re only getting started

PS daughter’s only one photo is AI the first one because we took a photo in the garage. 😜 taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @thealisonrobertson

And in case you’re wondering…
yes. I’m still one badass bitch.
Because of you.

Things I count on you for -even with you not here

Your voice. Your laugh. Your ridiculous sense of humor. The things you taught me without ever knowing you were teaching me.
I have lived an entire five years without being able to call you, and somehow I still talk to you all the time.

I look for you in the signs. I find you in the strangest places. And every once in a while, I swear you make yourself impossible to miss.

I love you. Always Dad. September 5,2021 taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @thealisonrobertson

Some diseases become family heirlooms.

I never imagined endometriosis 🌼 would become ours. Three generations.
My mother. Me. Now my daughter.

At 33, my mom underwent a radical hysterectomy because no one recognized her endometriosis. That was 50 years ago

Years later, it became my story, turning motherhood into a seven-year journey of confusion, inadequate and pain.

Then, almost four years ago, it became my daughter Olivia’s story.
She was diagnosed with Stage IV endometriosis and, before turning 19, has already endured two excision surgeries and more than any young woman should.

Endometriosis doesn’t just affect one woman. It changes entire families.
I’m sharing our story because I know it isn’t only ours. It honoring our experience allows even -

one young woman to be diagnosed sooner…
one family to feel less alone and helpless
and one physician listens a little longer…

Then I will share every vulnerable moment daily. May our daughters inherit answers instead of suffering. šŸ’›

For every woman still searching for answers:
We see you.
We believe you.
Keep Going. šŸŒ¼šŸ’›šŸŒ»

Three years ago today, I packed up my life, drove across the country, and said yes to a future I couldn’t yet see. I was chasing possibility.

I started over in a brand-new industry, learning everything I could from my business partner, mentor, and dear friend, @kathymccarthy973 and together we built @atlasrgp into something we’re incredibly proud of.

What began as a leap of faith has changed my life.
*Today, I have a home with Alison Marie Robertson on the deed.
*A home my Girl Gang loves.
*A new life I built from the ground up

Life looks very different than it did three years ago. Quieter.Fuller. More grounded.

Here’s to new beginnings, unexpected blessings, and having the courage to bet on yourself…..I’m just getting started. taken in Monroe, North Carolina by @thealisonrobertson

My daughter Olivia has been fighting what no one told us she might face. A disease that steals life quietly and ruthlessly. At age 15 she stepped into a journey with endometriosis that most don’t see, don’t understand, and worse don’t believe.

🌼Olivia was diagnosed with Stage 4, deep-infiltrating endometriosis. She had 2 unsuccessful surgeries in the last 2 years. This is not what she thought her 18th or 19th birthdays would hold.
What struck me hardest—as her mom—was the lack of understanding and education of the medical community. Therefore doctors dismissed her. Told her it was psychological. Belittled her pain. Left trauma in their wake when what she needed most was to be seen. And answers.

This matters because:

🌼Endometriosis is a complex systemic disease, not just ā€œbad periodsā€.
🌼It affects roughly 1-in-10 reproductive-aged women.

Too many doctors still don’t listen. That has to change.

We’ve been in battle. But today we start to heal at Lennox Hill Hospital with the healing hands of Dr. Seckin @seckinmd We are so grateful for this compassionate surgeon and his amazing team.

🌼Please hold Olivia in your thoughts today.

My baby is 19 today!
@liv.boris
She is Resilient. Brave. Inspiring.
So much of the current path you are on is not what you expected- not what typical 19 year olds are facing. You have shown resilience in learning anything and everything about your experience. The medical field would be lucky if your path goes that way. You are one of the Bravest human I have ever met. You truly have no idea! You INSPIRE me daily. In the fight for your health. Your ability to keep dreaming. And your mind is not only inspiring but fascinating. I love you so much Liv. You are my favorite person ever and I am so excited to see what the next year brings. PS you are going to be amazing next week. Believe in the magic that is you. 🄳happy birthday šŸŽ‚ taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @thealisonrobertson

I miss his smile. I miss him telling a story. I miss his advice. I miss my Dad.

There’s so many changes in the last 4 years and I know that I am for sure his daughter -because every step I have taken his support and influence I knew was guiding me.

This anniversary feels different. Not good or bad but there is more peace that I was seeking in prior anniversaries. I guess I figure out how to see my Dad in every aspect of my life.

Please know I have mom and the girls.
My girls… the way you taught me. I love you Dad.

PS. Aaron Neville was in music rotation always. - taken in Yonkers, New York by @thealisonrobertson
