Here’s how to save time closing gaps in between clips in Premiere Pro

1. Highlight all clips in the timeline
2. Go to “Sequence” at the top of the menu
3. Click “Close Gap”

Static doesn’t mean boring.
For this shot, I mounted the Action 6 to the front of the car and let the camera stay completely locked while my brother and I were inside talking and reacting naturally.
The energy comes from everything happening inside the frame — the road moving behind us, the light changing as we drive, and the interaction between us.
That’s why static shots can still feel dynamic. The camera doesn’t always need to move when the scene already is.

Sometimes the best frame is already inside the location.
Doorways, windows, mirrors, branches, and architecture can surround your subject and create a natural focal point.
This technique can make a shot feel more intimate, isolated, or important.

The Rule: Leading Lines

Lines naturally direct the eye. Roads, hallways, fences, shadows, countertops, and architecture can all point toward the subject.
