When was the last time you took God at His Word and stepped out on faith? 🫣

Instead of focusing on the fear, focus on the promises of God:
✅God is always with you. (JOSHUA 1:9)
✅He will provide all of your needs. (PSALM 23:1)
✅He will bigger than any problem or situation. (1 JOHN 4:4)
✅You are qualified according to His Calling on your life! (ROMANS 11:29)

Yall, it was not in my cards to host an event but this year I prayed for BIG FAITH 🤦🏽‍♀️ and this was definitely a test of it.

To have a sold out event and only ONE person show up could’ve wrecked me BUT my prayer was for the right people to be in the room. For the person who needed to be there be there.

So this event, in my eyes, was successful! We poured into each other and had an amazing time!
Afterward she told us that she was randomly found this event on Event Brite and God was pushing her to attend!

So remember when God is pushing you toward something, someone’s YES is on the other side!

Can you believe it?!

At the beginning of 2023 I decided to really get serious about paying my car off early. I’ve never wanted to have a five-year car payment so it was time to get to work!

After looking at my budget and staying disciplined, within the first few months, I realized how much finances really affect my mental health, especially as a mom. ❤️

But with discipline, strategy, and a great community, I accomplished my goal 20 days early! 🙌🏽🥳

While also in the mix, I learned about credit card hacking and how to use those points towards our family vacations. 🏝️Vacations were always important in my childhood so it’s important for me to start these with my family as well.

In the end, I used 180,000 points to pay for my family and my in-laws hotel for a 3 night stay!
This year, our hotel stay to Houston🤘🏾 is already paid for! 😮‍💨

The first time I completely gave God complete control of my life, everything changed.

That was 7 years ago. 🫪

Throughout the years I’ll admit, I got comfortable.
Slipped back into old habits and started to control things on my own.

It wasn’t until earlier this year when God told me to step out on BIG FAITH that I felt like I was in the middle of an ocean. 🌊

And you know what He did? He showed up just like He did 7 years ago. 🙌🏽

God let me know that He is not playing with me.
My time is not my own.
My words are not my own.
My actions are not my own.

I think it’s about time to start paying attention. ⏰

The hardest part wasn’t doing what God asked me to do. It was trusting Him with the outcome.

Those are not always the same thing.

💡Confidence says: I know I can do this.
✝️Faith says: I don’t know exactly how this will turn out, but I trust the One who told me to move.

That distinction has changed a lot for me.
Because I’ve spent plenty of time waiting until I felt ready.
Sometimes ready never comes.
Sometimes you just have to say YES! ✅

Your children are watching what you do with your life, not just what you tell them to do with theirs.⬇️

They see you try.
They see you pray.
They see you make mistakes.
They see you get back up.
They see whether you believe your dreams still matter.
They see how you talk about yourself.
They see how you treat people.
They see what you prioritize.

That’s why I’m becoming more intentional about the woman I am becoming.

My words.
My actions.
My time.
My space.
My intentionality.
My growth.

Because I don’t just want to leave something for my kids.
I want to leave something IN them.

Life can definitely be a whirlwind.

Sometimes when we are in the storm we can detour from the source. The thing that keeps us grounded.

Although I prayed and cried out to God for healing and recovery, my study time, relationship, and building with Him were out in the back burner.

Distractions can be easy, but in the end, they are not beneficial. ❌

So now I am seeing what God desired for me:
✅BIG faith
✅growth
✅peace

When God sends someone in your life in one season and they stay!😂

Check out how different my bestie and I’s day is.

💁🏽‍♀️She’s a SAHM and wife with a virtual assistant biz.
🙋🏽‍♀️I’m a surgery vet tech, mom, wife, and biz owner.

I’m reminded of Matthew 18:19-20 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”

She’s seen me through some hard times and pushed me! Shout out to the besties that don’t see each other that often but are down like 4 flat tires! 🛞🛞🛞🛞

It’s time to remember whose YOU ARE!

The most consistent thought I had while planning this event was “How is this thing going to come together? Where will the help come from?” 😓

I was quickly reminded that God has already provided me with the connections of family and friends.
From the venue ➡️decor➡️swag bag gifts➡️speakers, family was always around!

Truly thankful for all of my loved ones and appreciate their support in this adventure.

I finally stepped out on God…
And it paid off! 🥳

In January, God told me to host a retreat to help women regain their confidence in their purpose.
I didn’t want to do it!🙂‍↔️

In fact, I sat on it for 3 months.
No movement. No quiet time with God.
Just stubbornness and running away from what God asked me to do.

When I finally realized that God’s Will is the only thing I can hang onto (and also getting sense from some amazing friends😊) I let go of fear of planning, hosting, and resources and reminded myself that God wouldn’t ask me to do this unless He already has everything aligned.

This is the outcome!💐😊

It’s kinda chic to remember who and WHOSE you are.

There’s plenty of times we get overwhelmed, loose our way, or simply forget who we are.

But remembering what we’ve done, the errors we’ve corrected in our lineage, and everything God has placed in us to get to this point.
It’s so much more important. 👏🏽
