POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Lately, I’ve been asking myself a quieter question:
What do I want my life to feel like — now, and later?

Rightsizing has taught me that what we keep shapes more than our homes.
✨It shapes the stories we carry.
✨The weight we hold.
The example we leave.

The Legacy Filter isn’t about sorting things.

It’s about choosing ✅Intention over obligation.
✅Meaning over maintenance.
✅Clarity over clutter.

Because one day, what remains will tell a story —
not just about what we owned,
but about what we valued.

If this season is asking you to live a little lighter —
to choose with more care and less guilt —
you’re listening to the right voice. 🤍

If this feels like your season, stay with me.

✨ Here’s to rewriting our stories with more space, more light, and more life.

We’re not just downsizing our homes — we’re rightsizing our lives. Making room for what truly matters, what inspires us, and what’s next.

This isn’t about loss. It’s about launching forward.

As we gear up for Rightsized & Ready: The Downsizing Diaries, I’m inviting you to join this movement — one that’s redefining what it means to let go and live fully.

💌 Tell me — what’s one thing you’ve let go of (physical or emotional) that made space for something better? Drop it below or DM me — I’d love to share your story.

After 14 moves, 5½ years abroad as an expat with my family, and more storage units than I care to admit — I’ve learned that “stuff” carries stories.

Each item, box, and bin once held a moment of our lives — the toddler toys, the travel mementos, the things we swore we’d use “someday.”

But one day, I realized something powerful:
I wasn’t just organizing my home. I was editing my life.

That’s what rightsizing truly is — not about giving up or shrinking down, but about creating space for what’s next.

So, whether your kids are grown and flown, you’re staring down another move, or you’re simply craving a reset, here’s your Fearless Edit

5 ways to right-size your life with meaning, purpose, and heart.

This week, choose one area to edit.
Not because you have to, but because you deserve a life that feels light, aligned, and ready for what’s next.

💫 Share your Fearless Edit moment ⬇️

What are you ready to release?

Somewhere along the way, we got so busy building a life that we forgot to enjoy it. 🤍

The responsibilities. The expectations. The endless to-do lists.

But what if right-sizing our lives also means making more room for joy, laughter, and the little things that make us feel alive?

Not everything needs fixing. Not every moment needs to be productive.

Sometimes we just need to look around and realize how far we’ve come.

Little me would be pretty proud. And I bet yours would be, too. ✨

What would your younger self be most proud of today? 👇

Thank you @coolibar for the perfect sun protection

34 years. Double digit moves. 3 kids. One extraordinary life together. 🤍

And this picture taken in one of our happy places over 3 1/2 decades apart.

When I married my college sweetheart, I had no idea how many versions of life we’d get to experience together.

From raising three kids and living overseas to navigating career changes, packing and unpacking more boxes than I care to remember, and eventually watching our children build lives of their own, we’ve learned that marriage isn’t about everything staying the same.

It’s about continuing to choose each other as everything changes.

And now, in this chapter of our right-sized life, I’m realizing just how special it is to have time for us again. The quiet mornings, the sunset conversations, the laughter, the plans we’re still making, and those two chairs overlooking the water.

After 34 years, I don’t want to go back to who we were when we first said “I do.”

I love who we’ve become.

And I love that we’re still becoming. Together.

Happy anniversary, Tim. ❤️

We didn’t just build a life together. We’re still building one.

Here’s to all the chapters we haven’t written yet. 🥂

Now let’s get the heck out of here and unplug 💗

Because sometimes it’s not the things we’re holding on to. It’s the people, the memories, and the chapters of our lives we aren’t quite ready to release.

That moment became part of the inspiration behind The Legacy Filter™, one of the strategies I share in my upcoming book, Creating The Right-Sized Life: The Guide To Letting Go Of What Was and Living Fully In What Is Now.

The Legacy Filter helps us decide what to preserve, what to pass along, and what we can lovingly let go of, without feeling as though we’re losing the story.

Because rightsizing isn’t about erasing our past. It’s about honoring what matters while making room for what’s next.

And sometimes the smallest things hold the biggest pieces of our hearts.

🎧 I’m sharing more of our rightsizing journey in an upcoming episode of The Right-Sized Life podcast.

Tell me, what’s one thing you’ve held on to because of the person or memory attached to it? 🤍 by @theamy.schmidt

Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is the simplest. 🤍

A little movement. Fresh air. A moment to clear your head.

I’m learning that right-sizing my wellness isn’t about doing everything.

It’s about doing more of what makes me feel like ME.

And sometimes, that’s as simple as stepping outside.

What’s one small thing you do that makes a BIG difference in how you feel? 👇

🇨🇦 WHO DO YOU KNOW IN CANADA?! 🇨🇦

Sometimes the next chapter begins with one conversation. ❤️

And this one has me SO excited!

If you’ve been following my journey with The Right-Sized Life, you know I believe in making intentional choices about our health, our energy, our time, and the opportunities we say YES to.

That’s also why I’ve been so passionate about sharing my personal wellness journey with MAKE Wellness.

And now we’re getting ready to bring MAKE to CANADA! 🇨🇦

TONIGHT we’re hosting a special Canada Preview Call, and I’d love your help making some connections!

I’m looking for people in Canada who are passionate about wellness, love connecting people, have an entrepreneurial spirit, or are simply curious about what’s next.

Maybe it’s a friend. A former colleague. A family member. Someone with a wonderful community who is always looking for ways to help others.

We’re introducing a wellness approach featuring natural peptides (NOT injectable peptide products), along with an opportunity to learn about becoming an early affiliate as MAKE prepares to enter the Canadian market.

And here’s what I love most...

Sometimes right-sizing your life isn’t about doing LESS. It’s about making room for something NEW.

New connections. New possibilities. New ways to create a life that fits.

And you never know where one introduction might lead!

🇨🇦 So tell me... WHO DO YOU KNOW IN CANADA?

Drop a 🇨🇦 in the comments if you’d like the link to tonight’s preview call, or send me a message if someone comes to mind!

📍 CANADA PREVIEW CALL — TONIGHT!

⏰ 8 PM CT | 9 PM ET

Here’s to opening doors, making connections, and seeing what’s possible in this next chapter. ❤️

Es gibt kein schlechtes Wetter, nur schlechte Kleidung. 🇩🇪

Translation: There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.

After living in Germany for nearly six years, this saying has stuck with me. And this morning, as I headed out for my walk, I was reminded why.

Movement doesn’t have to be complicated. It just has to become part of how we live.

Yesterday, I had an appointment with my cardiologist, and I walked away feeling incredibly encouraged.

After making intentional changes to my wellness over the past couple of years, we’re cutting back my statin and reducing my blood pressure medication under my doctor’s guidance.

And THAT feels like a win worth celebrating. 🙌

Not because of a number on the scale. Not because I’m trying to get my younger body back.

But because I’m investing in the woman I am NOW—and the life I still want to live.

More walking. More movement I actually enjoy. Better habits around sleep and hydration. Conversations with my doctors. And yes, incorporating MAKE Wellness into my routine as one piece of my personal wellness journey.

This is what right-sizing wellness looks like for me.

Not following every trend. Not doing what everyone else says I should be doing.

But asking:

Does this fit my body, my goals and this season of my life?

Because what works for me might look completely different from what works for you.

And that’s the point.

We’re not trying to go backward. We’re building the strength, energy and resilience for everything still ahead. 🤍

So here’s your reminder this morning: put on the shoes, grab the jacket, get outside and do something good for yourself.

One small choice. One day at a time.

And I’d love to know: What’s ONE wellness habit that’s made a real difference in your life? 👇

And if you’d like a quiz to see how to custom tailor your wellness needs message me or comment WELLNESS
