Our friend @hosam.hassona is one of the beautiful Palestinian musicians that can be seen in so many videos sharing the power of music, bringing joy & hope to displaced children & families in the camps of Gaza.

In spite of the aggression and destruction that has been visited on them, Hosam married the love of his life Doaa. They have just welcomed their first child into this world.

As you can imagine, their joy is mixed with unfathomable hardship. They should be tucked into the beautiful home that they had planned to share - experiencing the joy of watching a newborn grow & flourish. Instead they are displaced and are struggling to obtain the basic needs required to survive.

A Traditional Palestinian Song - Reimagined by @ahmedmuin_abuamsha & @gazabirdssinging .

“My North is a traditional Palestinian song that we have reimagined with a fresh arrangement, carrying within it a story of resilience, pain, and hope.
Despite displacement, limited resources, and harsh conditions, we were determined to deliver high-quality sound and produce this work with the tools we had.
The song was recorded, arranged, and engineered entirely on a mobile phone, as we currently have no access to a studio.
This project was completed by Ahmed Abu Amsha and The Gaza Birds Singing team in southern Gaza.
A heartfelt message from our voices to the world - the song tells the story of the tragedy that struck Gaza, echoing our deep sorrow and love for our city.
Our hearts are with you, Gaza... no matter the hardships, we will always sing for you.

We invite everyone to share this song widely across social media platforms, so the world can see what is happening in Gaza - and so that our voices remain witnesses to the truth.

🎓 Congratulations, Muin!

Today, my son Muin achieved a wonderful milestone by passing the Tawjihi exams with a score of 83%.

I couldn't be prouder of your hard work, determination, and patience through such difficult times. May this success be the beginning of a bright future filled with hope and achievement.

Congratulations to every student who succeeded this year. I pray that all the students of Gaza achieve their dreams, that this war comes to an end, and that we all return to our schools, universities, and our normal lives in peace.

We are not only talking about the outrageous prices of fuel and building materials. Even food, the most basic human necessity, has become unbearably expensive and far beyond what most people can afford. Contrary to what many believe, there is no free food aid reaching most families. Nearly everything that enters is sold in the markets at exorbitant prices, while thousands of people have no income and no way to earn a living.
We are not living on salaries or in an economy that has recovered. Many of us survive only because of the donations sent by kind-hearted people. Those donations are not a luxury. They provide a meal, medicine, and the bare minimum needed to stay alive. So when you hear that life has returned to normal, remember this: seeing goods on store shelves does not mean people can afford them. Life cannot be called normal when survival itself has become something only the fortunate can pay for. by @theamygrail

I respectfully request a safe passage for myself and my family out of the Gaza Strip, in a sincere attempt to escape a tragic reality we can no longer endure or adapt to.
