We receive anchovies in all sizes! Especially during the beginning of local anchovy season, we see smaller anchovies that can’t be processed into lime pickle anchovies. Our solution was pretty simple: fries with eyes! This season we pair them with a @chefhillarysterling inspired ramp-peperoncini aioli! by @theanchovybar

Local anchovies are truly a labor of love. @dis_gus_ting and the commissary team work through 30 to 40 pounds each day, dedicating hours of work for these delicious little fish! by @theanchovybar

Last night was a blast! @atomicstew @handsthatknowyou had a great time hosting @chefhillarysterling from @cisiamonyc @ushgnyc to celebrate the release of her cookbook, Ammazza!!!! Our team had so much fun cooking from her book. Local anchovy fritto misto with pepperoncini aioli! The first of the sungold tomatoes! Frittata! Calabrian chile fried chicken! Black cocoa tiramisu! This year’s @mowsf Star Chefs and Vintners Gala hosted 74 participating restaurants and bars, led by our very own @atomicstew in his second year as Gala Chef Chair. The gala raised an incredible $6,175,000 to help feed and care for San Francisco seniors.
