📌 8 NOV IN BAROEG DDD XXIV DAY 2

𝟮𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀.

The Answer Lies In The Black Void is the alchemical collaboration between vocalist Martina Horváth (Thy Catafalque) and composer/multi-instrumentalist Jason Köhnen (Celestial Season, Bong-Ra). Their 2023 performance at Dutch Doom Days was outstanding. And their most recent album “Transcendental” is so good we had to get them back.

Uz njih stiže 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐝, transcendentalni metal projekt koji su osnovali Martina Horváth (Thy Catafalque) i Jason Köhnen (Celestial Season, Bong-Ra, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, Wormskull, Voodoom, The Thing With Five Eyes, The Lovecraft Sextet…).

THE ANSWER LIES IN THE BLACK VOID - Moult (2021)

SPOTIFY & YOUTUBE

“Moult” is a track by the atmospheric avant-garde doom metal studio project The Answer Lies In The Black Void. It was released on 24 September 2021 as the fourth track on their critically acclaimed debut album, Forlorn, issued via Burning World Records.
The band is a prominent international collaboration between Hungarian vocalist Martina Horváth (renowned for her work in the avant-garde metal project Thy Catafalque) and Dutch multi-instrumentalist Jason Köhnen (formerly of The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and Celestial Season).
“Moult” blends the heavy, slow, crushing gravity of traditional doom metal with layered, ethereal, and melancholic soundscapes driven by Horváth’s soaring, operatic vocals.
