currently falling in love with life:)

here r just some of the things and people that make me the happiest.

may is mental health awareness month. may will be over two days from now, your mental health will still matter the most.

reminding you that you are so important. your feelings are valid. you are more than enough. you are deserving of love without limits. you are so much stronger than you will ever give yourself credit for. your worst mistake will never define you. you have not met all the things and people that you will love. better days are coming, i promise. explore your emotions, don’t live inside of them.

check up on your friends. give the tightest hugs. talk about your feelings. even the bad ones. do things that make your heart happy. be gentle with yourself and with others. i’m proud of you. be proud of yourself. love hard:)

a girl i didn’t know, died in the worst way. so i cried. and stared at the wall. and fed a hairless cat. and didn’t sleep. and the lights stopped turning on. and my old dorm is now a graveyard. and my daily caramel iced latte with light ice and salted caramel cold foam is cancelled because i’m too sad to go to starbucks ever again. and i picked off all my acrylics and broke off and chomped every last finger nail because i couldn’t be okay if someone died before they even started living. even if i didn’t know them.

i’m desperately trying to be happy, so here are some things and people i love and pictures i’ve smiled at today. take care of yourselves. there are so many beautiful things that do not fit in your hands, find them, appreciate them, fall deeply in love with them. life is so beautiful. even when it’s not. even when it hurts, even when everything is terrible and icky and gross. there are still so many beautiful things, sometimes you just have to look a little harder for them:) but i promise they’re there. check in on your friends and your almost friends, tell them you love them, give them hugs, don’t take precious moments for granted, please reach out if and when you need help, there are so many people who want to help you. i want to help:) you are never ever ever alone. everything gets better, it really does, and it is so worth the wait. by @thearieljohnson
