As this final day of #blackmaternalhealthweek comes to an end, we're still ever committed to the mission of bringing empowered birthing to families! Again, our gratitude extends to Arri and Sage's doula, Ms. Angela Brown @doulalovescreation who we are in partnership with to develop classes and opportunities for Advanced Doula Training. It's only a matter of time, so stay tuned! #arrrikenzo #blackmaternalhealth #BMHW23 #rainbowbaby by @thearrikenzo
There's beauty to behold in embracing a natural, unmedicated birth in a hospital just one year after experiencing a stillbirth at 40 weeks and having to unexpectedly transition from a birth center. Sage's entrance into the world was one of divine power and grace. In this vulnerable conversation, we bare all, LITERALLY. We encourage you to watch with an open mind and compassionate heart as we share an uplifting message that brings into focus the JOY of birthing. 🤰🏾✨️ Visit the links in bio or search YouTube to view the full reflections from both births. #ArriKenzo #SageSmocks #BlackMaternalHealth #Doula #RainbowBaby #NaturalBirth #MOMNIBUS by @thearrikenzo

Access to reliable child care has made it possible for the Smocks family to balance parenthood while continuing to pursue their passions and serve their community 💛 Head Start provided an early learning foundation for their oldest son, Levi, that his mother, Bri, continues to build upon through homeschooling. Now, with their youngest son, Sage, also benefiting from Head Start, and additional support through Crystal Stairs and their family caregiver, Gia, the Smocks family has been able to create a support system that helps them pursue their goals while giving their children proper attention and care. 🎬 Stay tuned to your timelines tomorrow for a new episode of Building Golden Beginnings featuring the Smocks family, as we recognize Arri Remembrance Day in loving memory of their son, Arri 🧸 Hear from dad Art Smocks as he shares his thoughts on the importance of child care and having a community. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒: @artsmocks, @brismocks, @levismocks, @sagesmocks, @thearrikenzo #BuildingGoldenBeginnings #EarlyLearning #ChildCareMatters #AGoldenStateForKids by @thearrikenzo

After following a vision to move across the country, discovering my biological father before my 28th birthday, delivering a stillbirth shortly after, traversing an unhoused and nomadic experience for 2 years, braving uncertainty in serial entrepreneurship, amongst homeschooling a child actor, rearing an adventurous toddler, trailblazing in the entertainment industry, staying committed to volunteerism, building generational wealth with my husband, and obeying God's direction with every step... this is where we start the story. 10/10. World Mental Health Day. I open up about it all and will continue to share in a short series. It's a glimpse into the blueprint of how I prioritize my mental health every day plus how certain practices and ways of being have recently led me to thrive in every area of life. These days, I mostly operate out of a beachside condo and consistently benefit from 5+ streams of income that vary each month ✨️ And so, 'In Focus with Bri' begins. Every Saturday morning. by @thearrikenzo
Meet the Kinship Walk Team Captains leading the way! 👟 They’re bringing their communities together to create more opportunities for teens and adults to discover their potential, strengthen relationships and lead. 💛 Join us for a weekend of Kinship, October 24–25! I am absolutely thrilled and honored to be a part of this upcoming panel hosted by @dear.fathers This conversation is near and dear to my heart as my family was supported before, during, and after our pregnancy by one of the best doulas @doulalovescreation Over the past year, it has been an incredible privilege to lead the @daddystrollersocialclub_la while bringing fathers' experiences into the room and shining a light on male postpartum depression. Leading @thearrikenzo continues to teach me so much about the true power of communal wisdom, education, connection, and research. I’m so excited to share those insights, join with the other amazing panelists, and dive into this meaningful discussion together. #Fatherhood #DSSC #LosAngeles #Compton by @thearrikenzo
