A huge thank you to everyone who took part in The Art Chapter 2026 — to those who have been with us since the very first edition, and to all the new faces who joined this year and helped our network grow.

Thanks as well to the many visitors who stopped by to flip through our books, ask questions, share thoughts, play with papers and inks, and listen to the presentations.

Thanks to the sponsors who supported our work and accompanied us during the days of the fair.

Getting together to talk about what we love is always a little kind of magic — an energy boost we hope stays with you until next year.

See you at The Art Chapter 2027 💛📚✨ #theartchapter #basemilano #boîteeditions #milano #artbookfair Photos by Alice Montecucco @alice.montecucco taken in BASE Milano by @theartchaptermilano

🇸🇳 The Art Chapter weaves its journey together with the Malidoma Popenguine art residency, founded by Charlotte Brathwaite and Malick Welli in the village of Popenguine, Senegal. A place of encounter and creation, set to open its doors at the end of 2026.

The residency will also host a library: the NIOKOBOK Community Library, conceived as a space for sharing, memory, and the circulation of knowledge.

Participants in The Art Chapter are invited to donate a book, a gesture that will help shape the future library and allow them to share fragments of their editorial journey with the resident artists.

NIOKOBOK is a space for connection, offering books and resources to artists, researchers, and the local community. Rooted in the Wolof concept of niokobok, means “it’s ours to share,”. The project invites participation and collective sharing. #library #theartchapter #malidomapopenguine #italy #senegal taken in BASE Milano by @theartchaptermilano

In Ground Hall troverai "DEEPandDANCE" di @ceciliasammarco, installazione che, a partire dall'esperienza dell'autrice in qualità di persona disabile, porta avanti una ricerca attiva sul concetto di "autonomia dipendente";
