For a long time I've wanted to collaborate with someone for a street portrait session. After a few cancellations and wishy washiness from others over the past year, I was finally able to collaborate with the amazing @m_m_v_p_ How fitting that she works at the intersection of architecture and environmentalism. It's amazing what you can achieve when you fotograph a human being in a planned and coordinated manner unlike leaving it to chance in street photography. This was such a rich, rewarding experience and I want to continue making portraits. taken in New York, New York by @theartofstrangers

Franco is 80 years old and has been working in the Garment District for over 60 years using the old system of garment construction by hands. He is still available for classes on pattern making.

Black and White canvas.
Sometimes I feel like I post too many of my photos in stories and not in posts. Instagram is dead. I'm on here less and less. It's no longer a photography app and it's algorithm is increasingly being driven by A.I. and prioritizing video and randomness. The world is at war and social media is hijacked. Remember this - They create the filter bubble. WE create the echo chamber! I should make a sticker of it. by @theartofstrangers
