Milo wanted to play hooky from school, so we decided to spend the afternoon at @jaemorfarms. Thankful for Fridays like this. ❤️ taken in Jaemor Farm Market by @theashhafner

What a big day. Our Milo started Pre-K. I’m still not quite sure how I feel, but it was a good day- and for that I’m grateful! He walked in like a champ, and got in the car with a smile on his face. I did sob when he walked in, but he never saw me cry so I consider that a win.🥹

I want to give a huge shoutout to Mrs. Ali who checked on Milo and sent us updates all day! My heart was eased knowing he was doing well. He is loved and I’m grateful.🤟🏼 by @theashhafner

One of the greatest gifts God has given us has been the privilege of being mom and dad.

Over the last few years, Milo & Valley have taught us more about love, joy, patience (emphasis on patience lol), and what really matters than we ever could have imagined. Being their parents has been one of the most meaningful things we’ve ever done, and we’re constantly reminded that raising this family is one of the most important callings God has given us.

And now, we get to do it again.

We’re so excited to share that baby #3 will be joining our family in December! 🥳

There are a lot of things we’ll do in this life, but we don’t know that anything will ever matter more to us than raising these little ones to know and love Jesus. Being mom and dad has changed us in the best ways, and we’re so grateful that we get to welcome another little one into our home.

Our hearts are full, and we’re so thankful for this sweet gift from the Lord.

Baby Hafner coming December 2026!!! ❤️ by @theashhafner

We serve a God who isn’t afraid to get His hands dirty. From before time even began, He sought after us.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The One who spoke galaxies into existence, who holds all power and authority, chose to step down into the dust of His own creation. Not from a distance. Not with hesitation. But with intention, with grace + love, and with humility.

Easter is the reminder that God didn’t stay far off. He didn’t watch humanity struggle from a safe distance. He stepped in.

He walked among us.
He felt what we feel.
He carried what we couldn’t carry.

And ultimately, He allowed Himself to be broken for the very people who broke Him.

That’s the part that I will never forget.

The all-powerful God lowered Himself.
The King of Heaven wore a crown of thorns.
The One who created life itself willingly laid His down.

Why?

Because I was trapped.

Trapped in sin.
Trapped in my own brokenness.
Trapped in a story I could never fix on my own.

And instead of leaving me there, He came down into it. He stepped into the mess. He got His hands dirty. Not to condemn me but to rescue me.

The cross wasn’t weakness.
It was love in its most powerful form.

And the empty tomb?
That’s the victory I could never earn.

Easter isn’t just a moment we remember; it’s the reality we live in. I’ve been pursued, redeemed, and made new by the one true God.

Not because I deserved it.
But because He is just that good.

Happy Resurrection Sunday, everybody! taken in The Jefferson Church by @theashhafner

Can someone please explain to me how my little man is four years old already? 😅 It feels like yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital— excited, terrified, and physically exhausted… with hearts that had grown far bigger than we could’ve ever imagined after holding our precious little boy.

Happy 4th birthday, Milo James. I love you bigger bigger bigger. 🥲🤟🏼 by @theashhafner

They may be a handful 99.97% of the time, but we wouldn’t trade these lil jokers for anything.
