It has taken me a day to truly take this in, because if you know me, you know how humbling this is for me. To be honored alongside so many beautiful and extraordinary women is a blessing beyond words.

The Lift Her Up Movement is one of the most inspirational movements of this lifetime, and somehow, God and others saw fit to say that I belong a part of it. For that, I am humbled. Being recognized as a woman of strength and resilience moves me deeply, because I believe that is one of our superpowers. I am and will forever be for uplifting and encouraging women.

I am grateful to stand among 29 other phenomenal women as part of the 2026 Lift Her Up class of honorees, and I am especially thankful to @suburban_balance CEO and Founder, LaShawn Walker for not only creating this powerful and necessary movement, but recognizing that I needed to be part of this. Congratulations to all of the ladies part of this class.

Kansas City will always be about the people for me, especially my people! ❤️

Yesterday was a reminder of what’s possible when we stop talking and actually start investing and supporting!

Shoutout to my girl @nia_likethedictionary for being someone who is about action! You and your team put on a masterclass in bringing together government, small businesses, creators, influencers, and commUNITY when opportunities like World Cup make its way to OUR city. The culture was in the room and the impact was undeniable.

And to @millieangelo the GOAT of design, creativity, and vision! You’ve been doing this for so long. Happy to see your work on a world stage!

It’s been a few days since the Lift Her Up Conference, and I’m still taking it all in. I’ve always found purpose in doing the work behind the scenes, supporting, uplifting, and helping create space for others to shine so being recognized in a room of more than 2,000 incredible women was truly humbling and overwhelming in the best way.

I truly appreciate the flowers but what stays with me most is something bigger. There are women and young girls watching who are letting go of doubt because they see that they have a divine right to step into their purpose. Now they’re saying if Ashli can, and if 30 other remarkable women can including history maker and trailblazer Mayor Christal E. Watson then surely, I CAN TOO.

I’m incredibly grateful and I thank God for this moment. Congratulations to all of the honorees. To stand alongside 30 other powerful, inspiring women is something I carry with deep appreciation.

And to the extraordinary leader LaShawn Walker, words will never be able to describe your impact! Thank you for creating such a powerful movement.

Listen, @belairpeacock was the best dramatic remake of any classic!

Not only did @jabaribanks @jordanljones and the rest of the cast do a PHENOMENAL job, they set the standard for how to do it RIGHT!

Not to mention @jabaribanks @jordanljones being down to earth people with amazing energy and spirit. Humbled & blessed to celebrate with you fellas & looking forward to the next project.

Again, job well done! A time was had.
