Sour Candy was one of my FAVE songs back in the dayyyyyy 🥹 What a trip to see @melttheband play this live at @thecastro_sf last night - they’ve made the move from NY to SF and so this was their first new ‘home’ show!

Anddd of course, we got both set lists last night lol taken in San Francisco, California by @theasianexception

Y’all I am barely realizing I have been seeing Hayley perform for over HALF MY LIFE. Quite literally have the setlist from the last show she played here in 2018; thinking back to her running between stages with Chad back when Warped was held in my high school parking lot down in Carson. I’m reminded of Chain Reaction and its fur-lined bathroom mirrors. OOF what a throwback!! I remember seeing Paramore at Barclays in NY and running into my hometown friends. Coast to coast - From 20 person crowds to 20,000 filling an ampitheatre 🫪 Never growing outta this Nashville girlie’s music unfortunately lmao 🥴🤘 taken in Shoreline Amphitheatre At Mountain View by @theasianexception

Saw Billie Joe Armstrong play a hometown show with @the__coverups at @rodeomusicandartmarket this past weekend. Kept thinking of how rad it must feel to come back to where you used to play baseball and take center stage with a mix of old neighbors, family, and die hard fans. And through it all, also was mentally back in middle school. My deskmate @eyesewbell was the BIGGEST Green Day fan; I have vivid memories of her pulling out the entire physical CD discography between lessons LOL. Talk about hyperfixation. Felt really full circle in that way - to think about my hometown while seeing Billie Joe play his, just a city over from where I live now. taken in Rodeo, California by @theasianexception

August photodump.

What a MONTH of fun - from winning 3-day passes to Outsidelands; to seeing so many friends from different points in my life sitting at the same tables; to art shows and daytime drag.

Folks I knew since 3rd grade, to high school pen pals/ internet friends I met just months ago, to friends I had made just weeks - if not DAYS ago that feel almost familial.

Feeling so thankful 🥹 I find myself randomly almost crying thinking about these past few weeks LOL 😭

The world often feels so heavy - but these people and these moments have made my life all the more light as of late. by @theasianexception

Last Saturday was such a blur; only seems right to document it as such 🌈✨

Photodump of all the snaps from the tiny cameras on the table. Most photos taken by the second youngest at the party! and had to include Mac & Cheese getting to taste the party cupcakes at the end of the night, at home. taken in Oakland, California by @theasianexception

Had my mom on @emilyaftonmusic recording duty 👩🏻📹

Felt v special to have one of Jay and I’s fave local artists (and fellow UCSC alum!!) playing for our 5-year anniversary party. Seems like it was yesterday we were sitting at her show at The Battery chatting about if we should try and book Emily…

Also - not over the fact the stage was our living room rug 😂

Check out Emily’s new single It’s You, recorded at 2200 Studios. Same place Fleetwood Mac’s Rumors album was recorded; also one of my faves… But whose isn’t it lol 🤭 taken in Oakland, California by @theasianexception
